Just saw this at my local Homebase (Bishop Auckland) they had a bunch left in stock perhaps about 4-5, I never bought it instead I bought the Sr-320 (none left in stock) as it seemed like the better deal. Be aware that this kit's smart funcitonality is dependent on the hub and the hub depends on Yale servers which at some point will close rendering this alarm into a dumb alarm, read in another thread that the server close date might be 2021, just to be aware.

Product Information

Guarantee - 2 years

Comes with - 1x smart hub, 1x siren, 1x dummy siren, 2x PIR motion detector, 1x PIR image camera, 2x door or window contact, 1x key pad, 1x smart plug, fixing pack & batteries

Fitting instructions - Easy to install, all components are already wirelessly linked and no wired connections are required between units

Features and Benefits

Control the system via the Yale app on your smartphone – giving you the ability to arm or disarm and configure your alarm anytime, anywhere

The SR-340 puts you in control and alerts you directly, with no monthly fees

Yale uses a frequency that is tightly controlled, meaning a clearer channel with less interference as well as using an extra secure rolling code transmission

Email, text alerts and push notifications can be set-up for when the alarm is triggered

PIR Image Camera captures images when the alarm is triggered and movement is detected, you can also request still images whenever from the Yale app

The Smart plug gives you the ability to turn appliances on and off through the Yale app from anywhere

Portable keypad for arming and disarming from inside the property

The hub includes an internal back-up battery in case of power failure or being purposely unplugged by an intruder

When an alarm is triggered, the hub as well as the external sirens will sound

Can you elaborate on this and the source of information? I thought by reading another thread that the online space provided was for the system to upload photos to? I dont get what the other use the servers would be for? I was going to buy a hub for its smart capabilities etc to connect the cctv and door and alarm system. So what youve read tells you in 3 years time then i will no longer be able to remote access these systems?

The app will talk outbound via the internet to the Yale servers for everything, when you have any sort of app for a smart product that is plug and play over 3g/4g not over your local connection it will be routing through their servers. Its the risk you take they do can services when its EOL for their needs. When you're clicking lock/unlock outside of your local network then that message needs to be send to the unit, you could argue that someone may find a way of bypassing their servers and you could fool it via DNS redirect's to a server you host locally but i think thats unlikely and youd still need a VPN setup to push you into your local network when outside of the house.

I suspect its people speculating, i cant see any information about servers closing in 2021 but smart services do get culled without notice, with Yale bringing out smart locks and with them being a major manufacturer of the smart products i cant see them dropping support that quickly but you never know.
Good deal, just bought last one in stock from newcastle. Think they still have the standard model in stock
Got it. It’s still £350 on Amazon, amazing price!
Looks like a great deal of you can find it.
Does it have a mobile sim in it or do I need to buy one.
What's the service charge?

No service charge, all devices connect via smart hub to wifi. The camera is motion triggered but image only, not video
Picked one up in robroyston £94.50 thanks op
