I’ve got this and it’s great . If you want to be able to use your phone to open it remotely you’ll have to buy the hub and gateway adapter . So add on an extra £100 for a fully functioning unit

You're not wrong but I think this lock has a modular insert for the radio. I believe Yale have said they will release a Thread module for this so can be used with (most) Google Home/nest devices or Apple Home pods instead of just the Yale hub

Believe these are very easy to pick using a paperclip or racking tool

It only works with a nightlatch anyway so I'd see it more as a secondary lock

How do you open it if the battery runs out?

Is someone holding a smart gun to your head insisting you have one fitted to your smart door?

Have this on my newly built porch and i love it. Kept previous front door inside so not too worried about security. But it's been faultless for me. Excellent deal. (edited)

How much did your porch cost if you don't mind me asking, we really need one but I have no idea how much they cost

We've got one of these on the front door, works well and batteries last for about 12 months.
The beeping when keying in the code or using the smart tag sets our Jack Russel off everytime.

    That's a benefit

I got this a few months ago. Have to drill a new hole to feed the power through but easy enough. Been a total game changer not having to worry about keys!

This or the 4th gen August WiFi Smart Lock with a built-in Wi-Fi module, so no gateway adapter required?
