I bought this when it was this price last time. I can confirm the siren is VERY LOUD when you accidentally set it off at 10pm on your kitchen counter and scramble to unscrew the cover and wrestle with the miniscule power switch.

Other than that, I haven't got round to setting it up so this comment is useless

Haha. Rings so true (pun intended). Had same experience 5 years ago with my yale telephone alarm. Now that the siren (internal) has stopped working methinks it is time to either get a pro unit or a replacement Yale. Can't decide

That's why I put in ear plugs when I set mine up years ago (although luckily didn't set it off).😁
I also purchased this when it was first released and on offer and it's been excellent so far.
If electricity is cut what happens to system?

I hope it still doesn't go off like the older model did as drove me mad when the builders were here lol

The main unit has a built in battery back-up.
Typical, bought this item on 12th July few days back for £265.99 :(, heat added for the deal though

Spoke to them and they said they can't refund the difference but happy to get the item returned and buy again with lower price

That's the plan, it's just silly for them to post again and then me returning the same, unnecessary postage cost could have been saved if they had just refunded the difference. Thank you for the suggestion, appreciate it

How do you know? Maybe you did and couldn't hear it
I've took the plunge. Got it for £189.99 using the audible voucher. Hopefully won't regret it.

Really good. No problems so far. Very easy to install. Love the link up with my Phillips hue bulbs. House flashes red when alarm goes off!

Where did you obtain the door/window sensors from - so expensive!?
3 months on and this system is still selling for £200 on offer!

Purchased them from Toolstation.
Mine is now a year old, so at the time it was an "offer". But yeah, it seems to sell around the £200 mark most of the time.
