This is my first time doing this so i hope i save some people a bit of money.

I was looking to buy a wireless home security kit, and Yale being a good name was the only one i wanted, which is listed on Argos and homebase website as £199. I went into my local homebase store to find that this was reduced down to £158 but was able to get a further £10 after joining their rewards card for free. So the kit just cost me £148 and i just found out that homebase had a 10% all stock yesterday so you might find that some stores near you might have both offers on.

I agree big price difference. They are a little different though in that the BT one doesnt have 2 alarm boxes-they need to be purchased as extras however the Yale doesnt call your mobile when triggered so doesnt have a £5 pm subscription.

These Yales are part of a redesigned range. The range it replaced was cleared at B&Q at £35 for a set about 6 months ago (I know I bought one and its installed in my home) so this new style appears expensive to me. Also the price shown looks like a local store offer rather than a price which is widely available.
