This was listed about a month ago for £74. I spied it in Tesco Aberdeen for £37. There were only 2 left which I bought, one for me the other for my sister. However they may still exist in other stores. At the previous price they possibly got over looked at this price how can you say no.

Yes it's a Tesco deal but if you don't look you don't find.

The Standard Alarm is a basic keypad operated system ideal for a flat, terraced, or semi-detached home. The keypad enables you to set or unset the alarm via an access code. The system is pre-set with a 20 second exit/entry period and will allow the entire property to be either armed or disarmed.

Standard Alarm kit contains:
1 x siren box with flashing LED
1 x remote keypad
2 x PIR movement detectors
2 x door/window contacts

I paid £80 for this from Homebase last year and it really is excellent, at this price it's a no brainer...
Good price
At this price you could add the siren, pir and door switches to another Yale alarm set, they work out at £19 each approx. nice price!
Great budget alarm, I've not had a false alarm yet.
Recommend you buy the remote fobs for about £15 each as they allow instant arm, disarm and panic function, arm with the fob and it also removes the 20-30 second delay before the bell sounds.
Have some heat and cue the alarm fitter/experts and moaners who ignore alarms.
Excellent price. The premium alarm is better but at this price you can get the additions without breaking the bank.

Does that have the autodial?
Yes. Little bit more to pay, but worth it.
good price but remember the police wont come if it goes off
Nice price, voted hot
Good luck to anyone actuallly finding one.

Wild goose chase start....Now!

They also won't come if you don't have an alarm.

Surprised to hear that, I thought they had nothing better to do than come out to false alarms from cheap burglar alarms ?.

To me anything to deter a thief is better than nothing.
At the very least it may let me know someone is in the house while we're in upstairs.
Just waiting for a similar premium deal...

That's because they'll no doubt be really busy consuming doughnuts or trying in vain to complete the days newspaper crossword
heat added for the deal.
voting cold, just because there are only going to be a handful of these things in the entire country at this price.

i'm not criticising the op, but i'm getting a bit sick of these kind of deals, especially tesco ones, getting lots of heat, where only about 7 people will nab one of the listed items.

Why deny 7 HUKD's the chance to grab a bargain? There might be more available, the most important thing is that its giving us the heads up that deals are around!

Anyway of telling which stores have them? Would quite like one
Just looked in Tesco Norton and although they had none in store, staff confirmed the price.
I bought one of these at this price from Tesco in Watford a few days ago, none left the next day though.

So you're voting cold because you haven't managed to bag a Tesco deal yet and envy those who have?
That is how a 4 year old would think.

Unless your neighbours here it whilst you're not there and call the police. Then they will come.
Got the premium Yale kit and a few extra's from an auction site and I am very happy with it.
Easily fitted and seems to work just fine (keep opening the door without turning it off first and it always goes off....:-)
Probably wont find the OP's deal but the kit is just fine......

No, what I'm saying is that deals where there will only be a handful of items in the whole country tend to get a disproportionate amount of heat & attention, and can often dominate the site. Most of the people heating this deal wouldn't have a cat's chance in hell of getting the listed item. Whereas genuinely good & accessible deals get crowded out.

As I said, my comment was not a dig at the OP, and was politely phrased. But well done on striking back with a childish insult.

Not wholly accurate, police will only come if your neighbours see signs of a break-in or the burglar.
I look at mine as a deterrent and a way to shorten the time a burglar spends in your property. With a siren of any kind going off I don't think they will stick around to long.

I see, much like the deal you posted last year with a massive 17 items available.

Got two of the premium alarm a from bbq for 50 pound in clearance and they have been brilliant...
Aberdeen, the city where you can never have too many burglar alarms. Great find, heat.
Wolverine2031, when did you manage to get that? I'm after one but will my eyes open for a good deal like this.

The difference is that this was available to anyone who wanted it when there was stock, as it was online. And once it was sold out, it was clear it had sold out. With this deal, even if you went to every Tesco in your area, you still almost certainly wouldn't get one.

What is interesting about this deal, is that not a single person has reported getting one, apart from the OP, and yet its reached nearly 400 degrees. At times this place can feel like Hypothetical UK Deals, not Hot UK Deals.
Does anybody know any Tesco in east London which has stock of the alarm please?
Thanks
Why doesn't anyone sell the premium alarm set at a good price?

Sorry too easy.
Way too easy to jam and bypass.
