Now that is a deal. Heat added.

This receiver isn't on Yamaha's website. Does it have a different name in the UK?

Good spot

hukdbargain

Would stay away from onkyo myself, unknown brand.

Eh! *confused*

ha just spotted "Dispatched from and sold by Hughes Direct. "

Great amp, great brand, heat added.

Whipster

Yes you do seem confused - you've quoted something from another deal thread

Has anyone seen a review on this yet they could point me in the direction of please or confirm if it is a foreign version of a uk model?

Cheers

I've been desperate to get a good priced system since Christmas.
I haven't read into the specs, but it would appear SIMILAR to the rxv373 from richer sounds HERE.
Note this one doesn't seem to have a USB port at the front - so the Richer Sounds version would be better?

I picked up the YHT-199 from Richer Sounds yesterday and I'm really impressed.

YHT-199

Comes with the HTR-2866 and the full surround speaker package.. all for £194.99 inc a 5 yr warranty.

Crystal clear, very loud with nice punchy base from the sub.. for the price you cant go wrong!

I got it in-store at the Guildford branch. They had £50 off so it was £199.99, I cheekily asked if that was their best price and the chap gave me another fiver off and a 5yr warranty.. bargain!

to clarify, the guildford branch deny knowledge of this and according to the telesales team you MUST be lying. regardless i phoned them up and said its unfair and they threw in a 5 year warranty with it which is great, set it up last night and really happy with the results even if its still 250!

Erm yeah because I'm a natural born liar?!

Good to know they think so highly of their customers!!

Ill gladly post a scan of the receipt, fact remains that's the price I paid inc the 5yr warranty!

So what do you think of the setup?

i told them that mate didnt think you were lying! think they were trying to fob me off.

connected it all up last night, changed the output to 5.1 and got the rear surround and centre speakers actually working which is great! still feel like im missing something. my fingers ache from doing all the cabling though!

hows yours?
