Been this price for some time. Better off getting a BK sub like a Gemini at this price point I would say.

Looks like you would have to go second hand and then still pay over £200.

Of course.

Little bit more cash, but I'd wager it's a better unit. I have a BK sub (not the Gemini, mind) and I've been delighted with it.

Thank you

I'd second BK subs too although this is the cheapest price if you actually want one of these anyway

I'd third it, lol. I bought a BK Gemini in wood finish of a forum for this price. it replace a pioneer speak set subwoofer and it is perfect. British made in Southend I believe. I would spend the extra if you can, but yes this is a good deal as I was looking at this as an alternative.

Not a lot of reviews for these. I have the smaller version (ns sw200), paid £129. Have to say it's great and produces a sound that belies its size. Wanted a sub that sounded good with music and film whilst being unobtrusive (keeps the wife happy!).
Build quality is excellent and a nice bonus is the trigger link to my receiver which powers it up/down in unison with the amp.
Did look at this one but was a little large for my needs. Good price though.

Interestingly (or not), I have a Yamaha YST-SW800 which was an absolute monster (18Hz), until it stopped working. Took it to an Amplifier repair shop and he fitted some new bits but they blew straight away, appears to be a serious design flaw in it.

Anyhow the guy recommended buying a new "Back Plane" amplifier from BK, to replace the Yamaha one, I think the board costs about £160 but it's what I'm gonna do when I get time.

In need of a descent sub soon. A good price for the Yam so hot.
I used to buy BK components years ago but never speakers. A phone call to BK said they don't supply to the trade but also didn't have any sound rooms within their premises. This was a little disappointing as I can only go on word of mouth despite living very close to them.
