Did you miss the deal yesterday, It was something somewhere for £16.00

Very nice Receiver if 3D/HDMI 1.4 is not top of the agenda. I decided that 3D is not for me in its current form so used the same logic to buy a £2k Yamaha DSP-Z7 Receiver at a bargain price.

No, I paid £1299 to a Yamaha dealer (Quantum) about 5 months ago.

Yawn! Change the record. This just highlights that you know absolutely nothing about the subject in hand time and time again. The joke is well and truly on you I'm afraid, people aren't laughing with you, they are laughing at you. When will you realise this?

Despite not being the latest model out, this is a cracking piece of kit for the money. I demo'ed this in Richer Sounds and Comet and was extremely impressed by it, at this price it will be hard to beat unless you absolutely must have this years model

I could say "Buy Yamaha" but like the above its merely a personal preference. Strange as it is I prefer the build quality of higher end Yamaha's and Sony ES Receivers. I also believe the numerous Onkyo owners (AV Forums) who reluctantly admit admit their Receivers get very hot during use.

Don't waste your breath, you are replying to an individual who made perhaps the most idiotic comment in the history of HDUK and then chooses to remind everyone what an ill-informed comment it was wherever possible.

You're not helping yourself with the new avatars let alone the "joke".

Let LOUGHBORO GUY have his fun. He maybe annoying but he's not doing anybody any harm. You can choose to ignore him.

*Applause*

I'm heartened by the growing throng who have had enough of the 'joke'. I just want the offending article to realise it's over and it's only the hard-of-thinking among us that is still laughing.
