If you wanted a 5.1 set then you can have a look here for a decent list. My reccomendation would be to look for some Diamond 9.0s, 9.1s and possibly a 9.cc, or 10 centre speaker on ebay as they are really cheap second hand and hard to damage so should work well. SW150 is a decent subwoofer that can be picked up from £50-80 on ebay too.
This is just my reccomendation for some good value speakers, many others will know much more than I do about other brands available that may be better. X)
Try a pair of these
Any recommendations for a set of floorstanding speakers?? Budget but quality at the same time. I know i sound like a cheapskate now lol
Thanks mate!! I dont think bookshelf speakers are poweful enough.. not after a massive loud thrilling experience but i think a set of floorstanding speakers would be better for my room Any recommendations? Many thanks
If you want new have a look through these recent deals.
It all depends on budget. I have mainly had bookshelf speakers but I am sure some others in this thread can recommend a decent pair of floor standing units for you that aren't listed above!
You'd be surprised how well they fill a room. Obviously, not as good as a 5.1 set-up, but good enough for most people. Worst case scenario, you feel you need a bit more oomph, then you just move them to surround and add in floor standers later.
If I were to get a new pair of floor standers though these would be my choice. These are ok, but they were £149 a couple of weeks back.
My god those Q500s are pretty.

This any good? £50 cheaper than the q500
Here's the link to the monoprice speakers:

Yea, you won't be disappointed with them.
This must be a very old out of date model.
Most new model Yamaha receivers don't have DAB
There is one discontinued model:- Ebay listing 232251656508
It came out in 2016.
Planning on replacing my aging Cambridge A1 Mk3 amp. Thanks
Well it would be, who has ever heard of Onkyo?!!!
Do you not have google there? They are a cheap chinese manufacturer, but Richer Sounds increase the RRP, then regularly self them as a "bargain" on sale. Compare Onkyo and Sony side by side, you will not believe the difference.
Whoosh.... !!!!!
Caught one...
I'd imagine delivery would be expensive from there
instant heat.
Are certainly did spenfica !!! Let's reel the babbler in, we caught a whopper .
You might need to find out if an iPod touch can be connected at all via USB. Only works with FAT16 & FAT32 devices & doesn't support encryption. Anyway the DAC in the iPod is probably equal or better to that in the amp so you're probably better connecting via a good quality analogue cable.
Yes you do.
