Yes not sure why, but I got a large "Yankee" candle from ASDA and it was in a diff glass jar and does burn a lot faster and does not smell as nice than the real McCoy Yankee

These are made by Yankee but are a different style rather than the traditional ones, more a budget range but still very good

These are the 'simply home' budget yankee candle range. They're still made by yankee candle, so 'real yankee'

You can also get a smaller 6 pack for £5 instore. Saw these in asda Antrim a few weeks back

oh well will give them a try for the price. I love Yankee candles, only ones I buy as others always disappoint in comparison.

out of stock

these are available instore!!
bought 1 last week ....and went back yesterday for 2!

Back in stock

So these are the worse quality ones yes? I didn't even get the ones that were the better quality when they were 12 for £10, so I don't think these are worth it that much. Still not bad though! Also repost

Got this info from the official Yankee website:

Q: What is Simply Home by Yankee Candle?

A:Inspired by the simple pleasures of home and family, Simply Home by Yankee Candle is a range of home fragrance designed with both style and value in mind. Simply Home is created with the same wax and to the same high standards as Yankee Candle Classics (Housewarmer), but with a different complexity of fragrance, and in colours that perfectly complement your home décor. •Large Jar 538g, Burn time 100 – 135 hours
•Medium Jar 340g, Burn time 55 – 75 hours

What's so special about these Yankee candles? Is a smelly candle not just a smelly candle?!

You can find Simply Home by Yankee Candle in the following stores;

Asda
Asda Living
Tesco
Tesco Homeplus
B&Q

They created this range to cover a few different types of smell, eg fruity, flowery, etc which can be sold in supermarkets and diy stores so that customers are exposed to the range.

The supermarkets and diy stores can't stock the full range because there are too many fragrances. Yankee candle fans will know where to buy the different fragrances but the simply home range is to target customers who may or may not know about yankee candles and appeal to them shopping in store.

The standard is exactly the same, so no, they are not a poor mans yankee candle!

Simply home fragrances are very hit and miss , so it depends what fragrances are in this pack as they are sold for £1 each anyway so its only a £2 saving and the gift box.

ordered two of the £5 boxes and had to pay for delivery as only way of ordering them. Warning for anyone thinking of buying them as presents as mine arrived today, not impressed as boxes arrived all bashed. Whoever packed them put them in a large bag with no bubble wrap and hence bashed and scuffed edges with a couple of rips. Just about to complain to asda direct.
Have the 12 pack and some of them smell much more strongly than others. The snow one couldn't be smelt whilst burning but the cherry vanilla currently in use has a great smell.

Been on sale for this price for a long time instore

Nice price

No stock when I tried to order

brought these for a present great deal heat added
