Yankee candles burn for hours on end, they are the only candle which produces a strong nice smell all the time so we always buy them
thought id share that some are on offer,
bring on the cold votes just hope this saves someone a few quid, there is a 2.95 postage fee but if your buying a few its not bad
the large black cherry is nice and its only 14.25 down from £20 so well worth it

Expensive for a bit of wax in a jar.

These make a wonderful alternative...

most of the yankee sites sell these at these prices.. fragrance of the month.

yankeedirect.com

yankee.co.uk

Not voting either way.

If anyone has a outlet village place near them the Hallmark card outlet store always have everything Yankee they have at half price, plus QVC often has some good deals
yankee are good but i love wood wick candles much better smelling and the plus wick makes them crackle while burning.
Don't get people's fascination with Yankee candles. They do some nice fragrances but they do not last. After 3 large ones gave up. Better lasting fragrance from brands like air Wick.

That looks fab, I love candles but am very wary with having dogs, kids and me about. Where do you get those zen things from?
How much oO

I got a wood wick candle last Christmas, for some strange reason it burst into flames after a few hours use, giving off thick black smoke and the glass shattered. It frightened the life out of me. Luckily it was on a marble hearth and didn't cause any damage!
Please don't knock the price of these candles unless you have actually experienced smelling one. They smell exactly like the description. Baby Powder is very popular and is identical to Johnsons baby powder. Clean Linen smells just like freshly washed and dried clothes. The smells are so true to life.

Ive been buying wood wick candles for years, if it smokes you need to remove the lose burnt bit of the top of the wick, ive never known them burst into flames or glass to shatter.
Love Yankee candles. Soft blanket lasts for ages :-D
haha Mark2111 I don't need to buy that scent with my hubby about lol

It was the first time I had used it last New Years Eve, I am just pleased I wasn't alone as we had friends here. It set the smoke alarm off - pretty scary!

Is that how much those zen things are?
It's hard to get excited about candles but the gf forced me to get a vanilla one of these last xmas and it still smells great when lit now - very good candles and the smell is superb. We would only buy yankee from now on - have heat!

They're £40 on ebay with free oil:

ebay.co.uk/itm…22c

Or similar thing from China for £17:

ebay.co.uk/itm…82a

Considering the price of Yankee candles these are a lot cheaper in the long run. And they also work as air purifiers, humidifies and ionizers and don't clog the air with wax and wick fumes, and are safer...
