These are great until you realise wax melters are far better in every way, at a fraction of the cost.
They weren't that price when we went about a month ago, typical.

The plug in ones are more hazardous than a candle with kids about, or do you mean the ones you put a candle underneath and melt the wax??
These things are well over priced. The small ones are £1 at tescos but they aren't half as strong as they used to be. I don't buy them anymore. If you just want the candles tesco do a drinking glass size one in 4 different colours, and smells about as much as yankys for £1 that's fantastic value, i light them for about 4 hours a night and they last about 4 - 5 days. I'm buying loads before they go up in price. Thanks anyway OP.

That's because the supermarkets sell the "simply home" range which aren't as strong as the regular Yankees hence the cheaper prices in the supermarkets.

Also someone gave a good tip on a thread about having them in a lantern on the floor as candles in general will give off a stronger scent that way and I agree.

Obviously if people have kids and pets that's not ideal X)
Was there much stock left? I'm not off until Friday but will pop over if there's a chance of a bargain

There is tonnes there. We have been today and over a quarter of the shop is filled with them.

Still loads left. Mainly in medium sizes.
Chap in the queue in front of me spent about £300 on them.

Is a really good deal considering you are getting 3 for the price of 1.

From memory, they had the following fragrances in abundance

Icicles
Season of peace
Cosy by the fire
Christmas eve

I didn't know that thanks, it might be a good idea for yankee to make it a bit more obvious to people who know nothing about candles. They might sell more. Unless I'm just thick. Please don't answer that. Lol
