Yankee home inspiration candles £9 @ Tesco instore

Found 6th Oct 2016
Tis nearly the season.....

Spotted these and they are almost identical to a normal Yankee candle and from the same makers but almost a tenner cheaper. In store I spotted these for £9 each for a large jar but for some reason they only offer 2 for £22 online. still a great deal IMO

Fill your home with a festive blend of spiced orange and clove. Part of the Home Inspiration range by Yankee Candle, this Cranberry Zest large candle jar is the perfect match for any interior. The 538g candle comes housed in a clear glass jar with matching glass lid, and has a burn time of around 135 hours.

Absolutely True on all accounts

Definitely inferior, smaller than Yankee large jars, smell a LOT less than premium Yankee ones and burn twice as quick.

I own both Tesco and original Yankees and can't fault either. My Tesco Yankee is lasting equally as long and smells just a nice. potentially just paying for the big label.

can you point me in the direction of a large yankee candle that burns for … can you point me in the direction of a large yankee candle that burns for 240-270 hours, or are you just making things up in your head and telling lies

A large Yankee burns 150 hours and a Tesco one burns 80 if you are lucky in my opinion which doesn't have to be the same as yours. And as for telling lies, I will ignore your insults as quite frankly I am above that. Unfortunately for the OP I think -18 says what a lot of people think of the budget yankee's

In practice you maybe right, on paper a 22oz original jar will give you 150 hours burn time, this deal states 135 hours for 19oz. So this deal would give about 156 hours if it was the same size. However I suspect you to be right in terms of burn time and strentgh of smell, they wouldn't introduce a range which is the same as their original and sell it for less.

Yes, its a budget version of them.

Oh so disappointing not to see the angry 'these are not real Yankee Candle comments' they are Tesco's Yankee Candle. Even though the name Yankee candle is trademarked, and even though Yankee candle say we make them on their website. Not to mention that they say 'Home made by Yankee Candle' on them. They are a budget line, with a less sophisticated perfume mix, and lower burning time. When I worked at Yankee Candle, it was the highlight of my day settling arguments when people came into store asking if the 'Home' range were 'real'. I have never seen such gutted faces when we told them yes.

Always this price anyway, and smell just as good
