Not a history of selling Yankee though which there are fake ones around,I wouldn't risk it given their location.

I don't think most people would know if one was fake or not so I'd rather avoid to be sure.

Regarding fake Yankee Candle products, my bezzie works for a company that stocked them. They were displayed in the garden centre. The lids of the candles were being stolen by people. It took a while for the organisation (they have more than 300 shops) to realise that this was because the lids were being put onto fake YC products. The store was having to reduce the candles to next to nothing as they had no lids. They no longer stock the candles. I am very careful where I buy from now.

Hi. If you are in any doubt about the authenticity, you don't call the seller, you have to call the Yankee Candle Company - 0117 316 1260 and ask them about the seller. They will confirm if the seller is authorised. I am not saying they are not but just to let you know.

Have you contacted them before,do they actually tell you anything as OH bought Angel perfume from Sports Direct once and I didn't think that was genuine and when I contacted Thierry Mugler they asked me to return the goods and they replaced them for me but they would only tell me Sports Direct was an unauthorised retailer so I'm none the wiser now as to whether the perfume was genuine or not.

Hi. I also bought Angel (for men) from Sports Direct. I was happy with it. That is the only aftershave I buy so was satisfied it was the genuine one. Anyhow, Yankee Candle wrote to me this morning that the cannot comment on the authenticity just by looking at a website but that the candles offered by this seller were not purchased directly from Yankee Candle. That was all it said.
