£3.29 on eBay and do the same job.

This unit beeps when you put a device on it to charge. Did recall reading about it beeping everytime it got to 100% battery then drop to 99% to start charging.

I'm gonna skip cos of that. But would be interesting to see what wireless charging would be like compared to cable hassle.

Have some heat. Mmm, toasty.

I can confirm that mine does not start beeping at 100% nor does it drop, it has sat there nice and quiet all morning!

Bear in mind the ebay ones don't seem to come with the mains adapter so you have to use your phone charger which is typically 0.7a for a Samsung, which could affect the charging time. There are a lot of different brands to this one and a lot are shipped from china; as its not the same Brand as in the deal I couldn't say how good or bad they are. Having had this a few days now, I'm happy with it, it charges the phone quickly so much so I've bought another.
For me it was inexpensive and on the high street, the internet is good but some times its nice to see the product.

Ah glad to hear. I am interested in getting one. But £27 for wireless charge does out me off a little.

Was in maplin an hour back and I caved. I picked one up. Will see what it's like when I'm home.

Sadly this has been a horrible device.

First one charged and then lost power throughout the night. Micro usb port had had a loose connection.

Replacement doesn't detect my phone in its case and has a hard time detecting it outside off the case.

Hoping to return it tomorrow and get my money back. Useless technology.

Oh dear! The two I have have been fine. If your case has any metal in it then no it won't work in the case. Mine is a leather case with metal edges inside the leather to hold the phone in place and I have to remove it, but thats the nature of the technology. The wife has a soft leather case and hers charges fine in the case.
On the plus side, I suppose its easier to return to maplins on the high street.

Case is soft rubber that houses the whole phone.

Dock #1 worked through the case no issue. But loose connection stopped charging from time to time. And was a pain to get it to start charging

Dock #2 doesn't notice the phone on the dock inside the case. And needs to be fiddled about to get it to work outside the case. It's more hassle being wire free in my experience.
