How good is cloud storage for this one...?

I have 5 cameras and use the Yi Cloud storage. It costs around €60 (approx £55) for uto 5 cameras. Just around £1 per week. It works well, and backs up videos for whatever days you subscribe to. I sub to 7 day backup.

Is it 55£ for an year for 5 cameras? And for 1 camera, can you suggest how much was it? Around 11£?
I cannot think of a week when these cameras by YI have either been £39.99 in a lightening deal, or as per this post some kind of discount voucher which makes them £39.99, same for the 720p cameras, very rarely are they £34.99, more often £27.99 or less via lightening deals / vouchers. I have both cameras they are very good all rounders, however getting a little fed up of these posts every week / fortnight, if you pay more than this price then your overpaying, wait a week or so and you'll get them for £39.99
Hi all. Can you choose dropbox or Google Drive etc to store your videos instead?
Are these outdoor cams?

indoor only
This is a bargain. With the added thrill that a Chinese spy is watching what you get up to in your living room.
Are these any good for the bedroom , perhaps hidden between a couple of spare pillows ontop of a wardrobe ?
Can you change the title so you are not leading with the saving it's slightly confusing? Otherwise you might end up with other people doing it, and then it starts becoming unclear.

e.g. "Back again, £1 promotion, XBOX X from Microsoft "
£448.99

(it's almost as bad as making flights sound cheap by including lots of children then dividing the total by the number of passengers )

Thanks
anything similar external?

Love this.
I bought one last month, set it up and was immediately asked by the missus "what the hell is that?".
It was gone by the following day.
One step too far for some.

Quite agree, they're always around a penny less than £40/£20 for 1080p/720p, but then those promotions end, and everyone posts that they're gutted they missed out, and yeah, the promotions are back on again. All the fun of the fair.

Great Dash Cams, people dont hesitate when they see this protruding from my dash.
Is there a way to switch it off when you need privacy or err, I need to delete the last 5 mins when I forgot, or is it easy to tell when its watching or off?
Does anyone know if these IP cameras can be used with an app called TinyCam Pro?
Is there anyone here who has got the two versions of this cam (720HD & 1080P)? just to see the pict & recording qualities, ect?

Yes you can switch it off and the lens goes inside it's shell. A bit like a tortoise
Wouldn't waste your money based on my experience. Failed after 2 months and Yi support went silent after one message. They shouldn't be selling stuff in the UK if they are not going to offer even minimum customer service/warranty.
I just had a result. I ordered this yesterday for delivery today. Amazon let me down on delivery @7.15pm, goods lost in transit. Got refund of £39.99 plus gift card balance of £28 (£13 for the promotion and £15 as gesture of goodwill). Got family member to re-order for delivery Friday using promotional code. Total cost of camera for me £12.00

Mines been working fine for 6 months now.

Some people get unlucky with a defective one. But usually 1 in 1000 or something
