This got hot previously at £38.99. I understand they have been cheaper but only by £4. YI are generally excellent quality and I just ordered one of these for myself. You have to select the promotion on the product page to get £7 off.

I drive like an absolute foaming mouthed lunatic. What is the strongest mount so it doesn't fall off if I have the odd incident and what is the best software I can use to edit the footage so it looks like the other person's fault?
I have two of these dash cams - one in the front and one in the back. I highly, highly recommend this dash cam. Very good quality and very cheap. I do not believe there is a better dash cam out there for the money (I done a lot of looking). Here's a good review for anyone considering it. One feature i love is the phone app which connects automatically to the camera's dedicated wifi. This allows you to change all the settings on your phone easily and also view footage, clip it and download it very fast.

Looks good but not sure about the lack of suction cup attachment. .
It's a shame that it's grey 😬
Great camera I have one and just ordered another for my dad, if you want a suction mount you can get this: Suction Mount and if you really don't like the grey you can do like what I have done and got some black stick back vinyl, Amazon has that too though I got some from my local craft store for £1 but if you are ordering from Amazon : Black sticky vinyl
Bought this (black)from Amazon for £27 two weeks ago. Last week it was on offer for £25. Both prices when voucher used.

correct. Im thinking grey front back for the back

Does anyone know if these have a parking mode if i hard wire it. E.g. save clips if motion detected

Correct. Black version only 30fps @ 1080p I believe. Think there are a couple of other differences too.

No parking mode that I’m aware of. There is no internal battery.

My current cam has a parking mode but no battery. They can be plugged in with ignition off

There Is an internal battery, it allows the settings to be saved and to save the data on closing down. No dashcam has an internal battery for permanent use that way, and would defeat the convenience of it turning on automatically when the ignition is turned on.
So how do people get there dash cam to film at night/parked? It's got a g sensor doesn't it?

Sorry I have no idea about this stuff but I've just bought a new car so this would be very useful.

I have this and it's a great dash cam for the price , 60fps @ 1080 is all you need, no gimmicks and very simple interface and app

There are cams that can stay on for x mins after ignition-off, or even indefinitely. And of course cams like the one here (which I have), can be connected to a power line that stays on after ignition-off (all cars should have at least one, like the one that keeps your radio settings).

Of course just because you can doesn't mean you should... you could easily empty your car battery. I'd probably do it if I had a Tesla though :).

Regarding the deal, it has been cheaper a few times, but the price is decent. Personally I'm waiting for sub-30 again before I buy my second.
Can it be hardwired to the fusebox so it only turns on when it senses movement during the car being parked?

I notice you can buy kits that stop it from draining the car battery fully.

A large mah power bank might keep it running for a few hours after u have turned the ignition off.

Do you need to buy memory to utilise with this?
What cards would you owners recommend?
Another noob question.
How do you guys power for use on back window?

Hey I have two of these cameras, there is no parking mode/motion detection. If you hard wire it to a live source it will continue recording on loop as normal. Or you also have the option on plugging it into an external battery when the car is off - if thats a option.

It does not come with a memory card you need to buy one. The recommended largest according to the manual is is 64GB - this one works perfect for me amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

Some people have noted that their 128GB cards work in it also - so if you have one try it.

I guess you could epoxy putty it to the dash
I got 2 of them on 2 separate occasions when it was reduced by £10, good quality picture at 60fps.got one mounted on the back windscreen, wide angle, so useful to capture those idiots at the back tailgating etc.
Does this actually record at the 1080p and 60fps? Just been looking at a few reviews on Amazon which say it is a bit grainy and 720p. I am assuming these are just people who either don't know how to use it or download the videos off it?

I am using the 165 degree one. I installed it to an ignition feed using this 12v to USB connector. It's been working good for the past 4 months. The App works quite well.

Below the price you can apply a discount, it removes £7 from the price.
