I wouldn't call it a deal tbh. that's pretty normal price for them

Decent camera, have the 1080p version myself, which I got for this price, but 720p with be more than sufficient. Good price.

Most seem to look like this. Which I'm not a fan of. But I suspect it's because it's a pan and tilt one so has more gubbins inside rather than one you just point somewhere
Shame don't work on Google nest hub?

First glance does look like an astronaut.
720p is going for around £21 almost every single month, why is that
hot
I'd not recommend these anymore - without a subscription they are pretty much useless apart from live viewing. Alerts only happen every 20 (or so) minutes, so if it detects something i.e. delivery driver driving to gate, it will record a short bit, then not capture further movement UNLESS you have the subscription.

So they perhaps have a place, but be aware of real use without a subscription.

For info I have 3 in use, and will be replacing them with more expensive products (probably nest based). Again require a subscription but much much better in software and function.

I think you are getting confused, with an sd card in it, it will record all movement detected for as long as it goes on plus you can view this on the app unlike some others.

Put an SD card in —> problem solved!
I have two of them and they only work half of the time or keep staying offline. Just checked, one of them has been offline since 20:31 yesterday.....

WiFi problems perhaps?
Or issue with camera?

One could check to see if the recording was continuous during the outage (offline period)

- only trying to help

I also have Ring doorbell and never experience such problem. My home broadband is via Three 4G Huawei router and I do not know whether it is related to that?

You can't view the SD card footage remotely though?
TT_M08/01/2020 17:58

In the video view window, just slide right or left. You will get a timeline pop up.
It will go as far back as the sd card size limit

I'm wondering whether I've put the SD card in properly. I can't see any timeline?
I've got the 1080 one and I can't recall the last time it ever went offline of its own accord. I've only had to reboot it once when I lost the whole 4G network when Three went down for large areas.
