Look closer, that one is 720p. OP is 1080p with promotion.

Alot of the Amazon reviews for this are fake as they're from free product testers. If you look around, the genuine reviews aren't great.

Even 720p version gives surprisingly good picture quality. Only problem is, it's working through undisclosed China cloud, but it's hackable to work with surveillance software on NAS devices like QNAP or Synology - which is the best solution if you don't want to send pictures of your home to China.

TP link, Net gear, edimax also produce ip cameras, so I am starting to think I just get a lower quality resolution camera from one of them, at least it will work 6 months later.

1080p is much better. I have both but not this brand bought from Amazon. 1080p picture is much better.
