Y I oughta...
Found a nice review that is recent enough to cover the latest firmware updates
Why buy this ?
Seriously , just look at used Oly 16mp or sony nex.

Crumbs, that is cheap. Time to upgrade my trusty Canon 550D

Does this have a bulb setting for long exposures?
It sure ain't no Leica but that's a great price for what you get!

1/4000 -> 60s normal, apparently bulb can only be triggered with shutter button according to a review
not sure if updated with firmware

Any decent at all?
Definitely wasnt worth the old price, but cracking for this price. If interested YouTube search Kai yi camera. He does a review that shows it has its downfalls but this was when if was £400 camera and kit lens.
This camera punches exactly at its weight when you consider its RRP. However, at this price I'd say its definitely worth it. Look for compatible third-party lenses rather then YI's garbage glass.
looking for a decent camera thankyou
Dam... That red logo confused me with a Leica until I see the price

Any particular lenses to look out for ?

I’ve currently got a canon 650d , with kit lens . Also a sigma 17-50 f2.8 and a canon 50mm
But I find video quality is lacking ?
Yes I could upgrade the body but I’m thinking of buying this yi instead . I basically only use my canon for acoustic cover videos for YouTube etc . But looking at review videos of the YI , the video quality looks better than a 650d which is pretty dated now

Anyone got and advice ?
I was interested, but the reviews are not great.
Anyone here got one and could recommend it ? Can’t see it being brilliant for that price but then maybe it’s worth it?

I purchased one of these, be careful they one I was sent had a defective battery.
I'd say this is a very good start for people wanting to move in to 4/3 camera systems. As mentioned above by others buy decent compatible lenses, then in the future you may want to move up to a better system such as Olympus

what would customs and royal mail charges be on this if it was flagged ?

not got a mirrorless
How would this compare to the Huawei P30 Pro? Worth buying?

20% VAT + somewhere around 4-7% Duty + £8 admin fee from Royal Mail.
So possibly around £38 if it gets flagged, but it's not often things from China do, but I've never ordered a camera from China though.
I have an oly epl5 is this an upgrade

For pictures my advice is usually to have a search for the type of pictures you like taking on Flikr and see what kit others use. For video I suspect YouTube or Vimeo will be your best bet

plenty to choose from, basically depends on your budget though
any for micro 4 3rds will fit so olympus, panasonic or 3rd party
couple of good lists of 'cheap' uk places here for the main 2
camerapricebuster.co.uk/Pan…ses
camerapricebuster.co.uk/Oly…ses
This is a good lens - Panasonic 100-400mm
Probably the cheap oly 40-150mm in reality. But the review I just linked to sounds like this camera is too slow focusing to
take airplane pics. Good sensor in poor camera.
Try a superzoom for airplane pics - I still like my sx50 hs -under £100 used

Just looked at the YouTube review and honestly wouldn't buy this even at £120. Looks no better than a phone and that 4k video is terrible.

It's rare, which is why it's not top of the post, unlike the price which isn't rare because you pay every time!! Pretty simple stuff, if you don't read the description that's your stupid fault.

Help how? It's in the description, but you're making out it's a bigger problem than it is. Can you show us some of your import charges? No?

Yeah would be good to get some opinions on this. Would love to know!

from yi store on aliexpress? noone cares about the 1-2 quid items
Surely by the time you are done buying lenses and that you would be as well with a cheaper system camera from
Canon or Fuji?
