servers in china and only 2,4ghz wifi. cold from me.
How much is the subscription fee for these, I need two.
Most cam systems usually use 2.4Ghz WiFi probably due to power usage demands are high. Not seen a 5Ghz one + it uses more juice if it uses battery as a power source. The more reasons I still think a hardwired IP POE CCTV DVR system is far better than WiFi ones. Not liking the power wire sticking out at the bottom, very easy to snip that off unless you retrofit metal conduit pipes. Why couldn't they put it through the backplate? Think I'll rather wait till they release a 2nd gen model & ironed out most of any issues raised.
More carp from Guangdong.

Depends where you mount it,if it’s out of reach then you’ll get an images of somebody climbing up a ladder before they snip the wire

I deliberately have a wire poking out the bottom for it to be snipped ha ha. It’s a decoy though, so the burglar thinks he’s clever.

Also, if it ever does get snipped I’ll be on high alert knowing there is a thief poking his nose around the place at the moment
