Time waster. That’s you that is.
Wow! I did NOT expect that, it really is the impossible lair and not the first one, though IMHO the first one would have been a fantastic giveaway too and is debatably the more expansive title though both fab games in their own right. Wish I hadn't bought it on Steam now, that said it was only £10 and I'd say it's almost worth that to play with achievements (Epic really need to implement those) and support the devs a bit for an excellent game. "Bought" it on Epic anyway, in case I ever get the urge to play it again.

Despite my immense moans at the 2 repeated games, Epic have done exceptionally well with these giveaways looks like there is a last two tomorrow as well, so not even quite over yet, Epic really are spoiling us, if only Steam would take a leaf out of their book.....

I'm a pc gamer and loving what epic are doing. As it seems are many publishers/developers. Can you detail the harm they're causing? How is creating competition in a previously nearly monopolised marketplace a bad thing?
Mantis, please show me where on the doll epic games touched you. It's ok you're safe now and they can't hurt you anymore.

Tomorrow seems to be a return to weekly giveaways (seemingly Steep and Darksiders 2), but time will tell whether this lasts.
Woah! Just ordered this for my switch, little annoying, but best of both worlds I guess. Big heat!!!
Another scorcher from Epic, truly putting Steam and the other sites to the sword.

Well done also for getting the final say on the deal OP in the manic madness at 4PM when everyone posts
I can confirm too that this is a fantastic game. Everyone should get it while they can
Wow, did not expect it to be the impossible lair. I don't know how they manage to do it tbh.

Yeah does look like they are doing the usual weekly free games - 2 this time and a day in advance - then its back to the weekly giveaway - or so the date suggests.
So happy it’s the impossible lair, pretty shocked it’s being given away for free so soon after release! Was going to buy this on switch physical. Might still get it to support Playtonic
A week after I buy it on switch full price.
Every. Time. 👌
Wow. That is an amazing freebie. Might be my favourite deal over Xmas and New Year

Does this game work on Switch? Or is it for PC?

Just pc. But wouldn't have got in switch if I knew I could play it for free on my pc.
I think, need to build a PC with with all my unwanted buys from the deals at HUKD .. Thanks @Thorandor

This giveaway is for the PC version only, but the game is also available for all three current consoles.
Got a huge epic game collection now (45+)and only actually bought 3 of those 😃

I think you are right. Epic have typically hidden the game about to go free from the site so people can't accidentally buy it full/sale price only to see it free the next day.
Darksiders 3 is currently visible, while neither Darksiders 1 or 2 are visible.

I didn't recognise the image for Steep, so will go with that for the second title, though checking my Uplay library I seem to already have that from somewhere. Oh well - nice problems to have :P
Thanks!! Cant believe this is free!

Makes me feel guilty 66 free 1 purchased
Wouldn't take this from Epic if I was paid for it. (Not directed at Yooka-Laylee itself.)

I feel worse as all free none purchased:)
Wow nice
Can this be played on XBox? Sorry if it is a basic & silly question.
Thanks, why wouldn’t you when it’s free
You know that Epic isn't gaining traction when they fail to garner more than mere shreds of respect from these carrots.
You always get the killjoys don't you in pretty much every deal thread.

No it’s a pc platform edition, you can buy it for the switch (at full price) assuming it may be available on Xbox but you will have to buy the Xbox version if one is available. This free edition is for the pc only though.

No, it's for the PC.
