York is a very trustworthy company.

When you are using weights you don't really want to be just going with any company.

I strongly recommend York and its products.

It'll only be a matter of time before someone starts complaining how 20kg is to light even for a beginer. And how they use 100kg of weights. :whistling:

Think 20kg is too light even for a beginner - I started with 100kg weights.

Indeed, aslong as people don't post up topless pictures of themselves with their "big arms" then i don't mind. :-D

It's the postie I feel sorry for..

Good price for this particular York set, Argos do the same one at a couple of pound more.

If you are on a budget and looking for similar set of dumbbells (not york), try argos.co.uk/sta…htm.

You'll have to carry them home though :-( And you don;t get the choice of different weighted plates but if you are on a budget, why complain...............

OK, guys seriously, 20kg is light but maybe not for a beginner.. when I started, I used to pick up 10KG in each arm, Now I pick up 65kg on a barbell with my biceps, Thats just over 30kg in each arm.

Nice deal, Heat added!

for a beginner 20kg is heavy! i bought 20kg set from argos when they were reduced to £20 but york is a far superior make to the ones i bought

Hmm I've been looking for a good deal on some barbells but it looks like these were going for around £20-25 last Christmas. Good deal for now, but I think I'll hold out...

Essentially you are saying don't post if you have an opinion and actually go to the gym?

Nice

No you can post... just no pictures

So All, am looking at weights. Guessing some of you have purchased already....Good buy? Read the reviews - which are very good, or should of just be money saving and buy argos weights for £25?

argos.co.uk/sta…htm

Thanks.
