Could pay around £5 less without case and going by the pictures you would also get the plastic hand grips (I think they are better as your hands don't stink of metal after use !) I paid just under £50 for my 20kg chrome york dumbells without a case (Don't think they did or do a cased 20kg in chrome like they do for 15kg)

Good price my purchase hasn't been worth it yet though ! At this price it would of been.

I kept waiting for these, but gave up and bought the Gold's Gym Hammertone pair for £33.99 ...they're good too..
the case comes in handy for stowing if you don't use'em all the time.. if on the other hand you want to save, then the "Pro Power" from argos cost around £24.99 and they're ok too...
Going chrome sounds a bit too much IMHO, I mean in terms of value..but they're better anyway

Could also get this for a fiver less...... less bling!

These ones come with chrome collars though, not the plastic ones like on the £24.39 ones which break......

Are these worth the extra cash? I think I'll buy these (bit light though)

The propower ones are only 18kg and are £24.99

Are you able to put all the weights on to the one bar with these?

Original Poster

Not all the weight, but could replace the light ones(0.5kg) with the heavier discs (2.5kg) so one dumbbell will be 14kg(30.8lbs)... sounds decent enough...
You can also buy additional discs and add them like some have done (check the page) and you'll then have 15kg (33lbs) on each...
