Great bar for working biceps/triceps at the cheapest price I have ever seen.

Checked using Camelcamelcamel and this is the cheapest price Amazon have ever sold this item for.

This tends to sell for around the £30 mark at most places so this is a real bargain, and a worthwhile addition to any home gym.

OMG was about to order one for the full price for a mate. HEAT ADDED

I bpught the olypmic one which is 10kg but this is still a awesome deal! :-D

Bargain, have some heat.

Hot but I would go for the olympic bar if it wasn't too much more expensive.

Alternatively you can get a bar with some weights too for £32.09

I bought this bar about a year ago worst ez curl bar I've used!! Read the reviews about the bar spinning once loaded with weights I had the same problem with mine I find it impossible to hold as the bar always wants to spin counter clockwise

With rubber grip one will help? Or which one do you use instead?

I like your deal but does it include the fly ticket to a hot destination?

I'd buy this but I've just spent £70 on some weights. Hopefully the payday gods have been kind today

It depends if you bowed down to the altar of Wonga or not, if you did, get lots of practice in to deal with the bailiffs when they turn up.

I would absolutely love if it fit oly plates. Hell, even double the cost delivered. I can dream. Take some heat.

I have this bar, it feels a bit lightweight, but seems strong enough.

It's a good bar bought it last month for around 18 . Good thread pattern also on it for your grip and holds 80kg fine . Packing it arrives is is crap a plastic bag just make sure the spin locks are still on . One was missing but the citylink driver came back later with it as it came off in his van

Worst bar i've ever used. A lot strain on the wrists and hard to put a decent weight on it without feeling like you're rowing a boat

Bought, thanks.

Thanks OP

Just a note as others have mentioned that you should buy the bar to match the weights you've got.

However, I have used olympic weights on a standard bar ok - stick a smaller normal weight each side.

You can also get 1" to 2" adapators, though they're more made for machines.

However, I'd only doing this if I was looking to transition to olympic weights - ie buying some olympic weights to add to a normal bar before getting an olympic bar.

If my injured back didn't ache at the sight of this I would order it, have some heat

I remember buying one of these with a tricep bar from Argos when I was 16 about 15 years ago. Still use it to this day. Doesn't have spinlocks though and is not too heavy.

Out of Stock

...A 5kg bar? What's that even going to achieve?

Proper EZ-Curls are usually either 10kg or 12kg.

Obviously you put weight onto the bar

LMAO...(Checks banks account)

I have this bar and it does seem to want to spin when you hold it and feels very awkward to curl with. Can anyone recommend a decent e-z curl bar?

Back in stock at this price for those still looking to buy!

Received today. I see what people mean about it wanting to spin, I grip the bar tightly so it doesn't happen, but it could be an issue to some.

If you're looking for a bar that puts less strain on your wrists then this is really good.

Though some people would feel differently about this, try using other bars too but I believe this one is better on the wrists.

York aren't the best, but for this price it's a bargain. HOT.

Cool sword.

this might be a stupid question but can I add any weights to them? are the circumference of weights standardised?

Not a stupid question at all. There are two standard sizes - regular and olympic. Regular (this one) is 1" and olympic is 2". Olympic gear is more "high-end" and expensive. Olympic bars are generally longer and heavier as well as thicker to accommodate heavier weights.

Spend double and get an olympic bar, if you are serious you will want olympic plates after a while so this will become redundant LIKE THIS ONE just my opinion and the route i took.

My personal opinion only, there's no useful exercise that you can do with a EZ curl bar that you can't do with a straight barbell and dumbell set. The only real advantage is if you have dodgy elbows, you can take some of the stress off them, but if your aim is to work the biceps for the beach a straight bar is actually better as it engages the forearm muscles less. EZ curl bar is useful for triceps extension but I use dumbells for those

It's a common problem I always read about. Check that you're not putting the screw fastener the wrong way round. You need the small end facing the weight. The rubber stops it spinning.

Just buy an Olympic like everyone else said. If you never/rarely lift in the gym, don't bother buying it at all, because it'll end up being an expensive toe stubber in your house.

There's nothing wrong with it. I have dumbbells for straighter curls and im sure most that buy this has them too.
