I've got both the spin locks as on your list, and sping locks on oly bars, both are okay, but my prefence would be to get some clamps which would add the costs of the dumbells ebay.co.uk/itm…UZ3

The 20kg opti are 27.99 + delivery 3.95 or the 5er it would cost me in fuel makes this more costly
It's a good deal, You don't have to waste your time with moronic ebay sellers.

I automatically add "buy it from eBay instead" commenters to my mutant list.
There's always going to be a few of the "is that all you can lift" types too.
You're never going to see a shred of sense from them so there's no downside to muting them

I understand there is cheaper with other brands but my point was what I've posted isn't cheaper as far as I'm aware.
If you post a deal for a BMW is it a non deal because Ford sell a cheaper car?

You beat me to it
Post it separately, might get some heat!
I've had mine for years

Its 20kg including the weight of the bars some people can't understand why you get under 20kg of weights
They loosen up you need to keep tightening them after every set

Even with the plastic ones?
Good set, I've had mine for around 10 years.

Are you intentionally deceiving or so inept at searching? Posting ones over 30 doesn't prove your point.

Here's a set for 27.99 delivered using the main price filter. If you have time to use the filter inside of articles you will probably find even cheaper.

ebay.co.uk/itm…019
People saying they are too light are missing the point, as they are a great base set to build up.

I bought two sets of these on the cheap, and mixed the weight around on each to suit different exercises.

Picked up a few cheap 5kg plates from Tesco, too.

All my postings have the same thing in common. They are all York branded. That was the point I was trying to make.
Just because someone buys a relatively low weight set like this doesn't necessarily mean that's all they can 'lift'... These are good for adding plates to sets you may already have and additional bars so you don't have to keep swapping the weights over.

Who the hell does 50 reps? idiot.
These type of weights are a much better investment than the usual plastic, sand filled weights that sometimes appear on here.

As already pointed out, you can add more weight easily, just buy a few more small plates. They will hold enough weight for 99.5% of people doing a simple home workout, eg. curls, shoulder press, lateral raises, rows etc.

Everyone should have a set of these, even if you aren't a "gym goer" or interested in the current fitness craze that's been slapped in our faces over the past decade.
Hi guys. Had a few comments stating price of these being average or higher compared to examples shown. I bit as my deal concerned York brand so argued my case.
York was a big name when I was younger so thought these would be superior. Can anyone experienced in lesser known brands let me know if York is now a name and the quality is as good as any other or am I better sticking to what I know.

50 reps / 2 = 25 per arm. It is for definition and stamina, at those high levels. Admittedly the weight is a bit light at that amount of reps. I Warm up at 20kg per arm, and I go to about 30 each arm.
