Tried to get Lloyds own make a while back for almost the same price, fortunately they did not have them.
This is an excellent price.

Is this a legit company?

Never heard of them

anyone know if you get the chest strap with it too? I know its pictured but that doesnt necessarily mean that it comes with it.

Don't suppose this does blood pressure does it?

To ask the question again that other are asking, has anyone here used these guys before?? Seems a little bit too good to be true, a £30-50 item being sold at £12 with a £9.99 free gift.....hmm.

+1 please?

Website looks a little on the simple side - anyone successfully ordered and haven't had their personal details ripped?

cheers

Bit weary but gone for one.

Yeah the site looks a bit dodgy and the prices seem extremely cheap. Never mind I have ordered one!

sounds a bit dodgy to me. i looked @ their contact details and there's no phone number there

I ordered one too but now that I think about it, I really wished I didnt. Site looks dodgy to me.

Me too, I'm guessing this site is new and nobody has orderd here before so lets wait and see.

Me too, I have some doubts about this website, but I ordered anyway.
It looks like it has been launched recently (May 2009)

After few research on the net, I was able to find this:

They've got a certificate SSL for their domain:
seal.godaddy.com/ver…975

Address and phone number: (if someone could give a call to check :whistling:)
Ministry Of Deals
PO Box 375,
Vale,
GUERNSEY,
GY1 3YT
Tel : 01481244327

Websites which reference it:
blog.paidonresults.com/
uksmallbusinessdirectory.co.uk/bus…als
freeindex.co.uk/pro…htm

So far, it looks ok but I cannot find any feedback yet.

All of this does NOT mean that it is reliable.

So please post some feed back once you received your stuffs, it could help.

Cheers,
Michel.

I thought it was suspect myself but went for it. In the confirmation email it states:

Checked and this company does exist and is registered:

You can buy them on ebay for £28.

took the plunge, not live credit card processing, so it will be run through a pdq machine manually.

Boots/Alliance phamarcy are getting rid of TBWL make ones... £0.30 (yes 30p).
They need new batteries but that shouldn't cost you more than 50p each inc del on eBay.

I've got two... 60p for both plus 99p for two batteries... and they are ECG accurate... Personally tested against ECG, Blood Oxygen sensors (that also record BPM), blood pressure monitors (that record BPM) and manual timing... always within 1 BPM accurancy of ECG

I assume that's an in-store "if we have stock" type of promotion?

Ordered mine.. amazing deal and good timing too as I was just going to look for one of these. Fingers crossed - will report back if works... although the deal is only for 24 hrs...

Last week it was a random free PC-CD Rom bit of software - arrived today and just some CD/ DVD burning software. Not worth £9.99 though.

Onlyu for the freebie but arrived quick enough and well packaged. Legit looking address label with details printed on it.

Not so far, but havent actually bought anything with a credit card yet. Boffer.co.uk started out doing the same thing and so this seems to be the best marketing solution nowadays - drop prices and give out freebies in the hope you recoup loyalty later on.

I was one of the first to order and not sure how true this deal actually is?

Found this about the site.

Decided to use a credit card rather than a debit card in case there is a rip-off of any kind.

There's a few threads on here from this place, and no BAD feedback, but nobody has actually said they've received something they've paid for though, only the free stuff

Nice deal, heat added.

I wish I had ordered with my CC though....

We'll see!

Err, it's not even the same make, nevermind the same model. If you're not comparing like with like I'm sure you can find a crappy one for a fiver if you really looked. The ebay one also only appears to work when you hold your finger on it.. can't see it being ECG accurate :-)
