Outstanding tea since 1886
Bringing you a proper brew
We go to great lengths to make tea properly - from tasting 1000s of teas a day to find the best for our blend, to thinking about the water you'll brew it with at home.
And over the years, we've built relationships with some of the world's top tea estates and gardens, visiting them in person as much as possible.
But working closely with our suppliers is about more than quality tea. It's about trading with a conscience, doing business in a way that respects people and planet.

Good price. Iceland regular price for these is £4:50

Talking of tea does anyone else notice if you use pgtips and before you add the milk there is an unpleasant scum or bits from the tbag .So i thought it was an issue with my water or kettle even resorting to callout the water guy one day. However since being a recent convert to yorkshire tea its pure no bits or scum.

Might be your water, Yorkshire Tea is made more for harder water, if you have hard water it might help having these.

I noticed a year or so back Typhoo suddenly got worse, so maybe the manufacturers are using lower grade but forgot to tell us...

Sorry it exceeds my 1p a tea bag rule so its a cold for me. I don't buy this nonsense that Yorkshire tea is better; since when has tea been grown in Yorkshire unless its a secret location I don't know about!

Since when have Mars bars been made on Mars? (sorry to break that news to you) It's blended in Yorkshire. .... you know, how businesses purchase materials from all over the world and then put them together to make a product (the pork in Melton Mowbray pork pies does not come from pigs exclusively bred in Melton Mowbray). Oh. and it is better. Either you have not tried it, or you are deficient in the art of brewing a pot of tea.

Yorkshire Tea is better... in Yorkshire.... it was developed for the harder water, much the same way as some soaps are useless in hard water because they don't lather and some are useless in soft water because you're rinsing it off for a week...
..still.. I have a 1ppb rule... usually...

Thank you for your reply it was most informative and enlightening, but now disappointed to find that there is not a field in Yorkshire full of flat capped Yorkshire men or women (age of equal workers rights) picking tea leaves
