Saw this on the price tag in Manchester but they were all gone. Whether they'll stock up again, I'm not sure.

Just by pot luck you do reply do you not care that Cod and Haddock are overfished?

pollock is much more tasty than cod or haddock cod & haddock feed from all the **** down on the sea bed.

Hmm :whistling:

Had these last week.

To be honest, they weren't great. The fish was quite mushy and tasteless, it actually gave me the boak....

I have found that "generally" boxes marked fish fillets do indeed contain alaskan pollock & not cod or haddock as I found out when I cut into one of these & the fish was brown & tasted awful,I now ckeck every box to see what fish it contains :-(

extra large these days is basically small!

take off the weight of the batter and iced water and you'll have a small bit of fish at best. I wonder what fish it is.

still, good for a £1 but laughable rrp of £3.99 :w00t:

Farmfoods are 8 for £3.49 but good buy if you shop in Sainsburys.
