Not seen it but I know it's highly rated and one of the highest grossing anime movies of all time got to be worth a punt at this price.

Mitsuha and Taki are total strangers living completely different lives. But when Mitsuha makes a wish to leave her mountain town for the bustling city of Tokyo, they become connected in a bizarre way. She dreams she is a boy living in Tokyo while Taki dreams he is a girl from a rural town he’s never visited. What does their newfound connection mean? And how will it bring them together? Find out in the latest film from the acclaimed auteur Makoto Shinkai.

Arguably one of the best anime movie ever made, totally recommend it.
Great price. Also, for those that have Amazon Prime, you can still watch it on Prime Video as part of your subscription.
I've added the tag "you're name" to the info, otherwise loads of people on here won't be able to find it...

Own the bluray but still tempted to pick this up. Looks like the dubbed version?

Yup dubbed in English.
Watched with my daughter, I loved the style, and the premise was great, but story was weak for me.

Never heard of it but I understand what the meaning is. I'll check it out.
This is one of the most visually beautiful films I have ever seen.

Neither do I. It must be a secret internet joke of some sort.

The other way round it would have made a bit of sense.

implying nobody will be able to find due to illiterate people online tend to type "your" instead of "you're", never the other way around, so she would be putting "you're" in the tags to help whom? It's backward.

Just watched it last week, and highly recommend it
Beautiful movie, one of my go to films if someone asks for a movie suggestion.
One of the best films I have ever seen, anime or not. The only film to have me walking out of a cinema on a fuzzy emotional high.

Dubbed loses some of the emotion and humour though, the watashi/watakushi/boku joke just doesn't work in English.

Thanks! You just saved me some money
Watching this dubbed takes away all the emotion. Much like trying to watch “Dark” on Netflix dubbed.
Thanks @grillnun we have added this to today's Highlights page. Great film, not just a great anime film, just a superb film.

No problem happy to help
This movie opened up me to the world of Animes.

You would never guess that an animated movie could keep you hooked and reminds your right brain that left brain is in charge, no matter who you are.

It's commendable how anime artists and story writers can go to such great depths of one's heart with such beautiful method of storytelling.
fantastic film. beautiful. great story. funny.
well worth the purchase or watch on prime
Brought it, one of the best anime movies. Ever plus support the industry.
I came here for deals, not to cry.
I watch alot of anime, personally I think it's overated and gets most of the praise from non-anime viewers.it's good but any Ghibli film is much better.(just as an example).

I watch lots of Ghibli animated movies growing up (watched Laputa on VHS for like over 30 times as a kid, and plus other titles Valley of the Wind, Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service just to name a few), and I think comparing those movies to Your Name is like comparing apple to banana, as Ghibli's movies generally more focus on the journey or adventure in a fantasy setting, rather than the relationships and dramas between and surrounding two main characters as the main focus and based in a reality/modern society setting with supernatural elements.

Not gonna lie, Your Name does have some convenient plot holes for the sake of pushing the story forward, but it doesn't change the fact that it kept me in suspense when I watch it for the first time a little while ago. I guess it is down to whether or not the story and the characters of this film resonate with the viewer or not; it did with many viewers, but clearly not with you.

In my opinion the story itself may not be the most impressive part of the film, and rather it is how impressive the various scenes are so beautifully animated, as well as directed, executed, and presented in a way that really pulling the heartstrings of the viewers, and getting them so invested in the 2 leads and they just want to know what to happen to them next.

This film would not work for people that unable to find themselves emotional invested in/connected to the 2 leads, and it would probably making the entire thing an overall "mere" viewing experience.

For the record, I watch the sub version not the English dubbed version, so I'm not sure how well/poor is the (emotional) delivery for the English dub.

If I could, I wish I could forget everything about the movie if I was to re-watch it again, as watching it knowing how the events will unfold would just not the the same impact as when watching it for the first time (people that got hit by spoilers of key events prior to watching the film also will have their viewing experience ruined).
Cried watching this. Never thought I'd cry to subtitled anime.
