Excuse me if I sound dumb, but do you plug this in to your WiFi router to use the box I.e watch the usual channels, or do i need an outside aerial?
Does it come with a remote control?

You can watch catch-up via the players like ITV Hub/BBC iPlayer, but you wouldn't be able to view standard channels as you wtill require a working aerial.

Yes, you'll need to plug in an aerial to watch the usual channels. Don't think you can get a Freeview box without having to do this.

You may get away with an indoorr aerial if reception is good where you live - if yes, this is worth a read & check via Digital UK Postcode Checker: cordbusters.co.uk/bes…tv/

I'm referring to the box itself. I call it a Kodi box.
I've just decided to ditch sky etc...but my missus is moaning about not being able to record stuff for playback.
Does this get itv 2, E4 etc...and able to record?
m5rcc21 m ago

Does it come with a remote control?

CeX products come with all essential accessories. So you should get the power cable, remote and usually a HDMI cable too.

Yes. All the free channels, record 2 shows at the same time, and even on demand/catch up TV. It sounds like exactly what you're looking for.

It's far from perfect, but it's a solution to your dilemma without the need to buy an aerial. indoor or outdoor.

Redirected the offer to the DN370T still in stock for a few pounds less. It's the older slower model though, so bear that mind. Still perfectly functional but if you're impatient you may get a little annoyed every now and then.

Maybe...but I have netflix and Prime for kids, My wife watches the trash on freeview (E4, ITV 2) and I only ever watch sport (of which I can get elsewhere ;))
I'll try it and if not I can stock this box in my kombi van

No. One single aerial input.

But the bank account won't!
We went from Sky to this via talk talk, lasted a about 4 days, slag off sky all you want, the quality of the sky box (Q in this case) just crushes these kind of boxes. Once you had it, you can't go back. Great little box for a spare room though, or if you've never had a sky box.

True, and fine as long as you're content paying £50-£100 a month just for TV.

Yeah. I personally have the Virgin V6 box. Like Sky Q it's in another league entirely, but when you think of the price differences a box for a one off £22 payment in this case, it's fantastic value for money.

Very true, although I've stuck with talktalk on this very box and as much as it drives me mad as it's very slow and occasionally hangs it is functional and does the job - but cannot be compared to sky if money is no issue.

I now have a smart plug to switch it off every night which has made it better.

I am happy with my Humax box, does series link, never locks up and has all the catch up programs and interactive software. It does exactly what I want and once purchased does not cost anything monthly. I have had a sky box and all you get is crap shows that are repeated and repeated, you go ahead and pay for that *****, I certainly would not again

We had one of these it's a talktalk box very poor slow in use. Switched to the BT youview box which is way above it in performance terms exactly the same menu structure..

Will expire this deal once the instore stock is depleted.

Nope. Should be all out by close of business tonight. That's when I plan to expire it anyways. Quite a few will be taken towards online orders that have already been placed. Just leaving it up a bit longer as somebody may be lucky enough to grab one instore while out and about this afternoon

Ye u get good cheap aerials in screwfix around £17 a couple of pound for a bit co-ax and as long as u have a drill put it up yourself or get a friend to do it NEVER use a company to do it as u just get ripped off

TV Player is the app that will let you watch Freeview channels over the internet. It's on quite a few devices, including Apple TV, Roku Boxes/Sticks and Amazon Fire TV.

Roku is probably the best option though as they have support for a lot more services than the others.
Not good boxes I've had a few when I was with TalkTalk. Slow and buggy. If you must have one go for the 372 model which is a bit faster with double the ram. Removing the hard drive and using in a caddy is probably the best option for these boxes.

When I first listed the offer it was for the 372. That quickly went out of stock so I changed it for the 370.

I fully agree the new model with extra RAM performs so much better, but the 370 is still perfectly functional as long as you're not too impatient.
