Got this at the weekend. It's heavy but it does a good job of breaking up concrete.
Can't imagine this will be great at this price, but saying that if you only get two day's use out of it it's still cheaper than hiring one from Jewson's or HSS, so hard to fault on that basis.

Got a years warranty so can just return it anyway.
Should annoy the neighbors nicely. My radio broke, the football is flat, and my 17 little scrotes are on holiday skiing.
Yep, I had a concrete patio to break up and hire shops wanted about£80/day (including transformer as theirs are110v). I bought one for £99.99 from Aldi - rated at 1700W. Plan was to do the job and sell it on for £50. In the end the job didn't happen and someone got a new £50 bargain off me (via HUKD), but that's fine. I hadn't realised how expensive those hire places are until then!
Heck yeah! Now.... can anybody point me in the direction of Hatton Garden?

I got the Aldi version, which I think is the same unit under a different brand. It's very good. Made short work of a 6" concrete slab. It's in a different league to an SDS breaker.
Looks bloody awesome - I'm getting one!

What exactly is it for?

Nice bit of kit for the price. Need one of these in summer for a driveway project and yes it's cheaper than hiring. Heat .
Heat added, but might be a bit over kill for me to remove concrete around a fence post.
