the difference is negligible. only main difference realistically is the design of the phone itself. not something you could regard an upgrade

How will it become 201? it says 269.99

the processor is 200mhz quicker each core and the design obviously think it's more slimmer and weighs less also

the phone price is 8 pounds a months the airtime is 24 pounds so this is mainly for someone who wants to get the phone unlock it then ring o2 and pay the 192 cancel the airtime and that's that

Thanks, but I am sorry I don't think this is gonna work, i.e. they're gonna let me cancel the air time that easily. Afterall it's a 24 month contract, so for that reason I am out, I mean it's cold for me...

yes it looks out of stock look if ur not familiar with the o2 refresh contacts your obviously not gonna get the whole idea basically there is 2 parts to the contract the phone part and the airtime the phone Part works out as 24x8 which is 192 and the 9.99 u first pay when u order it equals 201.99 as soon as u ring up and pay this that's it the airtime is cancelled and then you have a z3 for 201.99 which is a bargain

Good deal OP, was about to order on my phone as my laptop is broken but OOS. Maybe next time. Some newbies to O2 refresh should read other threads before making ridiculous statements about its validity.

have a look at iPhone 5C deal, lots to read
hotukdeals.com/dea…043

cheaper then refurb Z3 compact @ £235.99

Seems some people want everything handed to them on a plate. With a little reading and research some of you complaining will see these type of O2 refresh deals have been around for a while and are legit. No pleasing some people though. Hot from me for the deal and effort of posting it.

Be careful when you buy these phones though. If you notice a problem, send it back and get a replacement instantly because if you do it after you cancel the contract, they will not acknowledge your warranty. Happened to me with my S5.

If these are refurbished, I am guessing it is a reduced warranty? 3 months is usual, but can't find where it says about refurb warranties on the site.

I get the deal, but reading the description I'm wondering if you have just been on holiday to Calais recently ?

Good deal. A word of warning though.
Once you take out and pay of the cost of the phone plan, remember to cancel your direct debit a few days later (phone and airtime plan) otherwise O2 will take out the money for the full amount of the final bill plus the cancellation charge without your knowledge. This is rare but it does happen. It happened to me on a refurbished iPhone 5S refresh plan. Cancel them once you get a letter in the post confirming that you paid.

Typo. Can't correct on mobile site. Meant to pay off not pay of.

Having done this twice I can guarantee that it wont be straight forward. So be prepared to be on the phone for a few hours, have enough money in the bank for them to 'accidentally' take money out for the airtime contract for 24 months etc.
Mine took 6 months for the money to be refunded back. so a lot of frustrations.

Well, I got my degree from this place

Out of Stock

This OOS.

Anyone heard that virgin has similar refresh style contracts? Can't seem to find which it is.

how does this work anyway? what tariff do you guys choose? almost everything has an upfront cost there.

Banned

this or lg g3 ?

Just realised how this works. your 24 month contract is for the phone and the contract for the airtime etc is monthly sim only. So once you are ready to pay off the phone you simply pay it off and give the months required notice and your done. Virgin are doing the same thing. Although they say their prices are competitive. They are from £60-£170 above the manufacturers website.

Wouldn't that mean you actually pay the £201.99 plus the line rental for £24 a month?
making it £225.99? still a good deal
