Nice 'Pocket tool' lol
Gets some decent reviews
Got one last time the deal was on and they are amazing for the price. Knife was sharp and is good for opening packages etc, though is does go blunt pretty soonish. Can't complain at 2.50

I believe roughly 3 weeks - can't quite remember but I do recall it being faster then initially expected!
Watch when buying anything with a blade from overseas. Different laws mean the blade may be longer than is legal in the UK. With the Government trying to crackdown on folk carrying knives, I'd hate to be arrested because I tried to save some money.

Its not illegal to carry a knife like this (pocket knife/multi tool) if the blade is less then 3 inches, which I beleive this is.

Its folding knives you want to be careful of, if they lock then it is an offence, this doesn't constitute as a 'folding knife' as such as it has other tools on it.

But, I do agree, no need to carry this unless you use it for work or a hobbie on your person.

So in short should be fine, nothing to worry about especially if you can prove you use it for work or a hobby.

Are you allowed a locking knife if it has other tools?

Bought. Thanks.

You are not allowed locking blades unless you have a reason to carry one. If you are just carrying it for the sake of carrying it you are breaking the law. If you require a knife for a legit reason then fixed blade/folders are 'legal'. For instance if you use a knife regularly for such activists as work/ fishing/ camping, during and going to / from such activities is fine. However you must carry it sensibly, sheathed/ in a pouch in a back pack, tool bag etc, not in a car door or your pocket etc when going to and from the place you need it.

Also to add on that blade must not be more than 3 inches and allowed to lock. But, yes you're right.

It's nanny state madness because many Leatherman style multitools have a simple blade lock which is there for safety reasons (make it less likely to close on your fingers). I have never heard of anybody using a Leatherman to stab someone. Criminals and thug teenagers are going to use a £1 kitchen knife, not a £100 Leatherman multi-tool.

I had a leatherman with locking blade, long stort short it was in a back pack that was stolen the police ended up with it and it was returned to me, the thief got done for it as when it was found it was locked out removed from it's pouch in a dodgy place. Like I said it comes down to how you carry it.
Ordered. Has to be good value for £2.49. Will compare it to my Leatherman and Gerber multi tool
Looks useful ordered one of each colour code works twice guys need to do separate orders though.
thanks for posting...

In any case my point is that classifying a knife as 'weapon' because the blade locks is silly and illogical.

Look at this Spyderco UK legal knife:33664888-6FPDI.jpg
It's non-locking but the design is such that you can stop the blade from closing with your index finger. That makes it a great weapon yet it's perfectly legal. Meanwhile handimen are getting done for carrying multi-tools just because the blade has a basic (very weak) lock. Try to stab someone with that leatherman and it'll slip down your own hand and cut your fingers.

33664888-VYrgS.jpgCriminals are simply not carrying these, no matter your anecdote.

sunderland...hopefully tuesday =d
delivery took about 3 weeks, seems well made and knife is sharp
Good
Got mine today... Its not particularly sharp, it can't do the cut paper test you see on YouTube where you glide it through paper.
It does cut but you have to saw/stab first. For the price it's ok.

It can saw through cardboard like butter though.
Even the scissors are decent.

Getting them out is a pain though its very very stiff. The only one I can get out without hurting my fingers is the long knife.
Hopefully it loosen a a little over time.

Good stocking filler, poor quality despite okay scissors, needed oiling but with any rugged use breaks apart -binned

Oh that's just ridiculous. I'd have one though.
Doesn’t work anymore
Anyone suggest a good pocket knife? Really just need handy for cutting through parcel packages etc, ideally something small which I can just stick on keyring, but doesn't become obtrusive..
I'm getting this message: "Sorry, this coupon code cannot be used with the promotion."
Ordered to stick in the garage for working in bits and pieces. Cheers OP.
