Good washing machine and ao are fantastic service
I once asked a currys repair man what make has the least no of call outs and he told me Zanussi. He said he almost never gets called out for zanussi. Ive stuck to Zanussi stuff ever since then and nothing has needed repaired or replaced since! Hot!
If only of were 1600 rpm. This is 1400 only. You'd need 1600 with 10kg of clothes.
Buy with Amex cashback too

Interesting - it does claim on the site, "Quieter, longer lasting motor" too.
Whats the cashback deal?

I don't think its necessary... just helps rinse clothes better imo. Think of it to be similar to a car engine.... one may take longer to spin up to speed but it will get there.... eventually and possibly be slightly more economical.
Thanks for posting, ordered, just what I have been waiting for.

Not sure but worth going through Quidco or TCB anyway!

TCB -approx £26 cash back.
Can see no cashback? Besides the 2.5% saving which is pretty little
10kg?! That badboy has more load than Ron Jeremy!

£20 cashback direct from AO.com

ao.com/buy…ore

As others have said, a great company to buy from. Really good after sales customer service.

So £20 cash back for defo.

Possible £26 cash back from TCB

And if you have and use an eligigble Amex card, another £30 back.

Edit

Sorry the TCB is only 2.62%

...because a technical person from Currys is the font of all knowledge. I had a Zanussi washing machine and the barrel fell off of it and nearly tore through the machine. I've never known this to happen in any machine. Terrible.

This has 10 kilos of washing spinning at 1400rpm. The horror!

this is only if you buy more than one large appliance hence the "buy more save more"
So there's no discount codes which can be used to reduce this further then? Poor cashback too

I've bought from AO a couple of times, found them very good at customer service. Fitted my kitchen (cooker, oven and hob) many years (ok about 5 years)ago., and recently bought a fridge/freezer from them. Samsung cashback no problems and the hood which was damaged cosmetically got money off (cosmetic damage not seen when installed)

No, a pop up should appear, asking you for an email address. That will generate a £20 voucher code for use if you spend at least £299.
Try SUPER20. Note using a code cuts tsb or quid Co to 1%
Just short of best buy status on Which - the noisy spin cycle let it down. They also advertise that Curry's have it at this price, but it's the cheapest, decent 10kg machine I know of.
Good price heat added.
£20 code does not work. TENNEROFF for £10 discount does.

Then use that code when purchasing the washer:

I think Amex are also offering £30 off a £299 spend, so you could use that instead and get it for £269 or spend an additional £20 at AO.com and use both the voucher code and the Amex card.

This should answer some questions
just be careful with the cashback. I spent 7k on appliances for our new kitchen expecting 10% cashback (topcashback offer) and it tracked and paid at 1%. AO said they could not affiliate the sale to TCB as the excuse for not paying out, but as I pointed out to them, they had already paid out just not the right amount. Still fighting it but not getting anywhere.
Delivery and price were spot on. 1 of the items actually came on promotion a day before delivery and after a quick email they refunded the difference - excellent customer service

I would buy this -Zanussi does last. I am on no 3 in 26 years -latetest was 7kg load from M&S 5 year ago £400 . av 8.7 years wear. original was basic and cheap =11 years. Also got matching dryer =5 years. only problem ever had is seal gets stuck in clothes and twists -have replaced 2 in 26 years.
