£329 but coop members get £100 off using discount code MPV100. Plus £3.99 delivery, bit of a shame as they didn't used to charge for this but their delivery service is superb!

Pretty sure this is the same oven my Mum has and she absolutely loves it, she bought it after reading lots of Which? reviews having been really disappointed with here previous oven.

I realise this deal is only for coop members but I figure its okay to post as prime exclusive deals are okay, and if you're not a member you may as well join.

Single oven at a decent price.

What a shame I'm married!
I've got an AEG oven, the Pyrolytic self cleaning is excellent, it cost me quite a bit for an electrician to hard wire it.

I've attached wires when a replacing a hob before, assume I could cope?

It's not about the ability to attach wires, its about how much power it draws and therefore whether it needs a dedicated circuit from your fusebox. Its due to the Pyrolytic having to heat to high temps and therefore draw more power than a standard single oven. You maybe ok but its best to find out the wattage of this and do some maths to determine the power requirements.

We had a Zanussi ZBF360 installed in 2004. Excellent oven though the door is broken now and the whole oven needs replacing. When installed, the electrician fitted dedicated circuit breaker and massive thick wire to make sure it would not burn the whole house down. Make sure that your wire can take the load.
Some ovens just have a normal 13 amp plug on them, no special requirements for that. You have to read the specs

It depends on the oven rating shown on the appliance rating label (normally located on the frame of the oven cavity behind the glass door). 3 kW is the maximum rating for use with a 13 amp plug in the UK, so if rated above that, the oven will not come with a plug and will need hard-wiring. However, most built-in single ovens these days are between 2 kW and 3 kW so they might be supplied with a moulded 13 amp plug already fitted for plugging into the cooker socket. According to the manual, this Zanussi is only supplied with a cable, no plug.

Found this in the manual ....

electrolux-ui.com/Doc…pdf

Connection via : Oven Control Circuit
Min. size cable / flex : 2,5 mm²
Cable / flex type : PVC / PVC twin and earth
Fuse : 15 A min / 20 A max

Didn't realise Zanussi was Electrolux! Never seen max/min ratings on fuse statements before? Also there is no mention of the actual max wattage of the oven in the manual, just some meaningless "Energy consumption with a standard load, fan-forced mode" which is stated in kWh/cycle.

Bottom line is it can't be plugged into a standard 13A socket and you need to check your current dedicated cooker supply (assuming you have one) to see what the circuit breaker is rated as.

Odd, definitely worked for me earlier. Not that I've gone all the way through checkout as I don't need a new oven, but it accepted the code and applied the discount.

Despite what the op said, you don't need to be a Co-op Electrical member to buy this oven at this price. When you go to checkout after adding it to your basket, just ignore the field where it asks for your membership number as it's not a compulsory field. Just fill in the rest of your details and apply the discount code to get the price down to £229 + £3.99 delivery. After choosing your delivery date and ticking the box to accept Co-op's Ts&Cs, step 4 of 5 will ask if you are a member. Just click on the "No, proceed to payment" option, enter your credit card/paypal details and click on the "pay and complete order" icon.

I got one in the end

The price did jump back to full when I selected no membership but as it only costs £1 to become one I joined up.
Ordered no problems at £232.99, delivery tomorrow
Great find, been looking for a new oven and this looks like a decent one. Self cleaning too, I've saved the missus loads of time now!
only costs £1 to join and means you get points / discount (5% back on all co-op own brand products) in store so worth doing
Great little oven. Ideal for my kitchen!
Well mine turned up today and after installing it's tripping my RCD so must take an higher current than my old oven.
Co-op refused to deliver to me because I'm on a Red Route, despite having a loading bay (and a Co-op convenience store!) right in front, and us getting plenty of deliveries every week. Won't tell me why this is so - some nonsense about an £80 fine for even being seen using the road, which TfL says is untrue. Very unhappy to have missed out on this deal, but it's no fault of the OP!

Damn, thats really annoying, though thanks for not blaming me.

Its a shame as I've ordered a few appliances from them and have been so impressed with the delivery dervice, but seems they're not as perfect as I thought.

Thanks, but Which?!?!&&#? - the only place I've found with proper reviews of ovens - really doesn't like Hotpoint at all, none of its ovens are Best Buys. This Zanussi is the third best rated oven they have listed, and even at £400 it's half to a third of the price of the other best rated ovens.
