After a few days researching washing machines I've decided on this Zanussi, I wanted a machine with a digital display a family size drum, good rpm and cheap to run. I'd say Zanussi is fairly reliable and a trusted brand.

Zanussi’s ZWH7148P has an impressive A++ energy rating. Saving you money on your energy bills. It also has clever fuzzy logic technology that weighs your laundry and uses as little energy and water as possible – not wasting a drop. The 7kg drum washes up to 35 T-shirts at once – so you can do the weekly laundry all in one go. And the ZWH7148P comes with a 20 hour delay timer. Set it to run at night when electricity is cheaper. Or just run it at convenient times that suit your lifestyle.

I was a little wary of using this company as I'd never heard of them. The good reviews online gave me confidence to try them

i would have bought one of this if my hoover washing machine stopped working. But amazingly it is still working and it is 16 yrs old. i am sure pretty soon i will have to replace it.

nice spec and brand shame about the color i am after this brand or Hotpoint in silver both washer and frost free fridge freezer under £500 white gets dirty quick

had my zanussi washing machine for around 12 years and still fine. good make . hot

I have this model and its a great machine, it certainly has enough capacity for me and my fiancee. Its not to loud, though it does take 4hrs 30 minutes to wash and dry, though, on some occasions, jeans may still be slightly damp.

Just bought this as I couldn't justify extra £50 on the bosch from JL. Very nice machine, easy to setup (follow directions to remove transit bolts). Very quiet when spins up, can still watch TV or hold a conversation without needed to shut the door. Nice digital display, front loads well.

Appliances online are good (delivered next day, no fuss) but will most likely try and flog you their service plan for a fiver a month.

2% topcashback if you can be arsed!

my Nana had 8 kids and would only have their machines, hence we have one at home and its great

zanussi are simply rubbish. had the fisrt one for about 6 months developed a fault. after the zanussi messing about trying to fix it after 4 attempts. I emailed the ceo and mangaged to get a new one. this has now developed a problem after 4 months. Rubbish appliance.

you must have been unlucky as zanussi is normally a very good make . I normally only buy zanussi or bosch white goods .....

My last zanussi washing machine lasted 8.5 years. My parents has lasted 9.5 years so far. My grandparents has been going strong for about 5 years now. A friends has been going maybe 6 years now. Zanussi is an Electrolux brand, so tend to be pretty good.

I think this is the same as mine and I'm very happy with it. I paid over £300 for mine last year so this is a great price.

Ordered, my beko just packed up after 6 years so thanks op

old washing machine just died so have ordered one of these. thanks everyone for helping me make a decision which is not easy when it means emptying the wallet

Mine came yesterday, I've done a few washes and am impressed with how clean the clothes are, not sure how as so little water is used. The wash lengths are a pain but can work round that using the delay timer and only 2 washes are recommended for the full 7kg load. All the other washes are for small half loads, which I think is pretty standard on modern washing machines. Clothes come out a little creased more than my old Zanussi. I think for the price it's not a bad choice.

Machine is definitely good but the retailer is well known for its customer service issues. I was conned into buying a worthless warranty (this is how the company makes a fortune - selling dodgy warranties)

The sister company Expert logistics were a long way short of being an expert delivering my washing machine. Not only they damaged my property but also scratched the machine. With another attempt at delivery I was told by customer services to inspect the machine before taking delivery. Although the delivery guy told me that he couldn't wait as he had other jobs to do. Obviously he wasn't intending to wait and I could not force him. What happened next is anyones guess. The machine was dented on the front. So I called CS again and they wouldnt exchange. Eventually i got a mere £10 off courtesy of shift supervisor but by that time I was already out of pocket calling their 0845 number which costs a fortune. My experience = definitely bad & lots of people have told me that their transport company's rate of damaged deliveries is a staggering 70%

Thanks to the op, bought one of these as my miele has packed up, so far so good.. oh and the customer service from appliances online so far has been excellent. (Hope its the same if anything goes wrong).

Had same machine for six months or so. Been no problem till now! Has developed a strong burning electrical smell, moreso after each spin cycle. Has anyone had similar experience?

Mine's only a month old but so far no problems

Had machine, Zanussi ZWH7148P, a month but first time removing filter to clean noticed water below of at least 3 inches deep. Customer service says this is as it should be! Can this be correct? Just doesn't seem logical to me. Any advice, comments, etc welcome. Thanks, Graham
