Quite a common deal around the shops these days, still hot though.

Not a great deal for those people who have gift vouchers.

I think we all should boycott the store until the administrators allow these vouchers to be used, or they agree to refund them.

Unfortunately it would appear that all voucher holders will lose their money.

Voted cold purely because of the firm, sorry.

Wait for the closing down sale. I picked up a bunch of blu-rays from woolies for £6-7.

not a great deal, when you consider this store is on the brink. should be doing more than just matching an offer that is on at other retailers that aren't in the situation they are!

I wouldn't even bother ordering anything in their closing down sale. I've tried buying stuff from them on ten seperate occasions and every single time they canceled the order and couldn't tell me the reason why.

This is one company that I'm not surprised nor saddened to see go under

So it is not a good deal because it is Zavvi? Does anyone know of any stores that have Dark Knight in 2 for £25?

not bad

I agree with you on this one. I have a £20 gift voucher which i received Sept 2008, unfort i was unaware that the store was in a bad state until i heard about it on Xmas Eve... Now I can't spend the dam thing and they've had the money from the person who bought the voucher in the first place. As far as i'm concerned this is stealing.

Another person voting this cold due the company stealing money and not allowing us to spend the unused gift vouchers.

Our local zavvi has a sign saying no returns, refunds etc. etc. not worth buying from imho.:x

Don't understand how they can get away with the gift voucher scenario, it's ridiculous. Personally hate gift cards, especially the new credit card ones as 99% of high street stores have a clause that says 'after 2 years the balance becomes £0", what is the reason for this, normal tender does not expire after 2 years so why should the balance on the card?!

As for not being able to use your zavvi gift cards, it's shocking how they can basically say 'yes we took your money, tough you cant use it now"

can you use vouchers online maybe? blu ray is due to fall in price as the volumes (and competition for shelf space) start reaching bigger scale in 2009. Altho that may be curbed if blu ray player sales were smaller than forecast this christmas due to the bg credit crunch (Which i think could be happening).
