Do you reckon the white control box is waterproof as well?

Nope. For a PSU look for an old router from your ISP, they are nearly always 12v but you'll need a minimum 2a to run this.
Great price, these arent the brightest but fine for mood lighting.

EDIT: I've used quite a few different strips over the years, I used some non-waterproof strips to stick to secondary glazing on a shop that really lit up the display dummys at night. Always go a little higher than you need if possible with the PSU, also the LEDs tend to last longer if you dim them slightly rather than running at max all the time. If these are truly 24w per 5m strip then a 2a PSU will be fine if you drop the brightness slightly.

Thank you paid on Halifax clarity card £3.56 bargain if it comes - not a massive loss if it doesn’t.
Nice find - though be aware that although you can cut this to size you can't rejoin. I bought a similar strip of 2835 SMD RGB lights, and all the connectors I could find were 10mm, not 8mm. I did a bit of research and found that you can cut them but not rejoin them (probably due to this reason). On the flipside - if anyone knows where to get 8mm RGB connectors then please let me know.
Can you use DSRGMAR1 more than once? Heat added.
Don’t come with power lead.
What about power lead do you buy it sperate ?
where do u get a power supply and how much is it?

Yes ordered 2x their website is bit confusing though
Is each LED RGB or are the R, G and B LEDs running along the strip? Thanks
Ordered, great deal

Well flog me sideways, thanks. All the listings that i'd found before always changes the width from 8mm to 10mm as soon as you select 4-pin. Hats off tek-monkey
Can anyone assist with the spec of PSU needed to power 2 sets of these through a 2 to 1 adapter?

Will be useful for kitchen plinth and profile lighting but I want 2 sets to go into 1 plug

Each is 24w so a 4a is the absolute minimum needed to power 2. I always err on the side of caution and go higher, if this was me I'd want a 5a and TBH you don't see many wall plugs that powerful. Probably better getting a mains transformer that you wire up yourself? This is a 10a one I am using in a shop window, depends how much room you have to hide something I guess:

If you ebay a black IR controller which has a round circle in the middle you can also make them sound activated
You would have thought they would have listed a Power Supply as a related item. I'd get a couple if i could get my hands on a couple of power supplies. I'm currently stuck with 3 meters of this with out a power supply

Thanks for the Post thou
How do i order 4 at this price?
Do i need to make 4 accounts?
I couldn't get the price down as low as stated....found my issue was trying to buy 2 at the same time.....reduced it to 1 and worked perfectly...so ordered another immediately after.

thanks for the post
Cheers OP will give this a try in my kitchen as mood lighting around the kick boards. Great price and can now use some of those old router power supplies as someone mentioned!
Looks the same as the one we bought to run up the stairs as a night light, be warned though there seems to be something that is tasty to cats, none of ours have ever chewed any wires but 4 of them seemed to find these quite tasty for some reason so we now have a 2ft LED strip.
