I don't expect this to blow anyone away as it's still pretty expensive, but if you're desperate for a copy, you can pick up a brand new copy from Toys'r'us for £42.99. It's priced on the website as £47.99, but by applying the code 8086839990, you can knock a fiver off. Eligible for free delivery too (although it says £2.95 at the checkout for delivery, the total says £0.00 delivery)
Hope this helps someone. I shouldn't have left birthday shopping until the last minute!

Still hoping for these to go down further and not to be thought of as a "deal".

If you have prime it’s 38

Thats not true - I have prime and it still shows £48. The only way that might be the case is if you're using the primenow code through the prime now application ( 10OFF40 ) AND live in a primenow area. But that can only be used once per account and I've already used it! Not even sure if that offer is still valid anyway.

Well I still hope nintendo are just charging peak prices for the start of … Well I still hope nintendo are just charging peak prices for the start of the consoles life. Mario kart 8 (Wii U) for example seemed to be released for £45, dipping to £40 after 3 months and then a while later dropping by another fiver excluding the odd days it dips more. And frankly I think £40 is the absolute most that should be expected for games of this quality. Especially if they want to remain relevant in an increasingly competitive market. I also don't understand some peoples defence of first DLC pack when the game originally retailed at £60, but that's another story. I mean can you really argue against the fact that ideally a £43 game with a discount code shouldn't really be classed as a deal?

I paid £48 for Breath of the Wild and I consider it to be great value for money for the amount of enjoyment I've received from it so far (60 hours+ in) and I'm more than happy to pay for the DLC on top of this. I appreciate that it's a personal opinion, but the staggering amount of things you can do in this game is well worth the money in my eyes.

Total bargain if you haven't got it already. I've put in 100+ hours already and unlike other games I've invested similar amounts of time in the 100th hour is as good as the first.

Never been a Zelda fan but adored this game. Actually got around to completing it last night. Was way over powered by the time I got to the last boss though. But I highly recommend this even if you don't like Zelda.

It's a Nintendo first party title, they're very rarely reduced in price!

Is this code still working? Whenever I try it doesn't apply the £5 discount.

One of the few games that's worth full price. The hype was real and then some.

Whats the Deal with the Code & Click & Collect? Code applies to the Basket but still displays £47.99, But £0.00 to Pay now. Will this automatically reduce the £5 Off when I collect it?
  23. smudge92's avatar
why is it nintendo releases always hold a disgustingly high price tag for years yet other releases can drop a good £20 within 2 months of release.

same here , do we get the coded bonus or not?
  25. Gorskar's avatar
Well looks like the code only works for delivery, as for click and collect you pay in store, not on the website. (Although I guess you could write down the code, or turn it into a barcode, print it and take it to the store and see if they'll accept it?)
Example of how to create a barcode from a number that *may* be accepted in store.... Barcode generator

Anyway the game is back in stock for delivery, so just ordered myself a copy, thanks!

It's a fantastic game and offers a lot more content than its RRP.. you can lost a lot more time in this game than probably a few other full priced games combined.. I can hardly imagine anyone who owns a Switch but not this game
