Being the cheapest you can find does not make it a good deal, I got it …Being the cheapest you can find does not make it a good deal, I got it cheaper day 1. Game is gonna be 1 year old soon. Sure, Nintendo games retain their value quite well, but it's not a good deal regardless.

If anyone wants to buy it for someone for Christmas they would consider £5 cheaper than other places to be a deal I think?
Your comment is way off mate.
im actually looking for this game at the moment. If this is the best price right now then it's a deal, what else constitutes a deal if not that? it's less than average retail price and available.

would it be cheaper if I borrowed your time machine?
Because a year ago it was cheaper, and in the future it's going to be cheaper. According to you.
But right now this is the best deal.
and your not helping find it

99.9% of stuff here is just the current lowest price - even with price comparison websites its what people do

Time machines have not been invented and as one has never come back they never will be so what you paid before doesnt help unless theres a reason the price is going to go back to that level soon

And *as you realised with the edit) Nintendo games dont drop like giant boulders down hills like PC games do

This may be the cheapest, but it's not exactly a hot deal.

By your logic why not list every single game on here wih the same 'its the cheapest available' comment..

Previous price is relevant because its how people judge if it's a good deal. For example, if it was £20 last week why would I think it is a hot deal at £45? Common sense means you would wait for a better deal...

Of course if you want it now then it is an ok price, but the majority of us who want a HOT deal it's freezing cold.

Wow, some proper deal snobs about here.

I do apologise that this price isn't up to your very high deal standards.

I'm sure some people looking to buy this game at the best current price will have found this post helpful 😁

But it is a hot deal, at the moment the lowest price by approx 10%, this on a game that is unlikely to be a better price till post xmas sales..
its hot not because it's stunning but because it's the best Relative to all other options it's a winner, today. Tomorrow it may be pants that's granted and buyers remorse sucks, however I've looked and no ones posted tomorrow's prices.

The price last week is irrelevant to those who need it today, and it's always a gamble to hold out for a price drop on a thing which is a pre-Christmas purchase on popular game such as this is.
Comparing to previous prices can be very helpful, yes. However, for a time-constrained purchased (birthday, Christmas etc) where you can't play the waiting game, it is, funny enough, incredibly helpful to know what the cheapest price at the moment is. So thank you OP, and please can some of you other people use your noggin a bit more. Thanks.

I personally would go to sphock. All copies in my local area are £35, rare at £30, and actually seen 2 go for £25 each before.

A couple at £40 but they tend not to sell.

As their cartridge based games. I don't really worry about scratches to the chips themselves.

For me £3 off RRP isn't an appealing deal, but I don't mind second hand while others may do.

Sure, but do we really want deals for every £45 game that charges extra for DLC? My opinion is that certainly by now it shouldn't even be £45.

Don't get me wrong, I certainly wouldn't pay anywhere near this for games, hence why I'm not purchasing a Switch! £45 is a lot of money. So I agree, on a personal level I don't find this a useful deal, but for last minute Christmas shops it might have helped someone.
Cheapest current price for one of the very best games of the year. Heat.

For anyone still moaning about this not being a good deal please take a look at one of the hottest 'deals' on this site at the minute.

The mini snes back in stock with no price reduction at £79.99. Not a 'deal' at all but helpful to know for people looking to purchase the mini snes and is currently sitting at over 1500°

This post for Zelda is just to show people it is in stock and at it's current low price. Nowhere in the description have I said that it's a really good deal, it's just in stock and cheapest around.

Anyway, hope someone looking to buy the game found it useful

That's the problem some of us have. I mean there have been 15 deals posted about the snes mini this month. 13 of them RRP, 1 more than RRP and 1 less than RRP and voted cold. Now I'm not trying to get personal, but come on... Sure a little notification every now on them might be nice to help people out even though it pretty much encourages basically manipulation, but sometimes it's just too much. Having a product in stock is something that should really be pretty much expected.

A similar thing happened with SSDs the other year continuously being reposted, but at least their prices were less than RRP. Hopefully it does help someone on the edge of buying, but I'd still personally rather see real deals on a deal website. Particularly since Nintendo has been supposedly increasing the stock of the snes mini.
I posted the same deal but on simply games (£44.99) - got -325 cold... depends which way the wind blows on this site sometimes.

Coming up to Christmas someone might have found this useful.

Not to get personal but, If you didn't find it useful then just ignore it, please don't let the post annoy you 😁

Well an individual post doesn't bother me, but when there's tonnes of nintendo 'deals' it makes it hard to decipher what is actually a deal and what is a fad. The more common it becomes, the less obvious deals will be.
Not a deal.

Didn't say it was a deal!! Said it was the best price at the minute
Thanks for letting me know what the best deal for this at the minute is.
You have saved me a fiver which means I can buy 243 steam games
That sounded sarcastic... I am actually grateful.
Have you seen how difficult it is to buy the guide in paperback ?
