I got proper excited for a second when I actually thought for a moment they were releasing a special edition of the GameBoy again when I saw the pic.... then zoomed in and saw the words steelbook

I think it may be some cancelled pre orders or extra copies have came in. This will defiently sell out and become scarce in the very close futures as europe is the only region with the steel book. I know alot of Americans are trying to get a hold of the european version!

Yes, But none of the current gen consoles are region locked. So this couldbe played on an american switch.

Thanks managed to get one, smyths normally get an allocation just to sell.

True story!

Seen this deal reported at the time, checked my local Smyths store and they had one copy but not available to order online. Left it a few days and the copy my local store had was gone, still, I thought not a big deal I'll get it from Currys instead. Checked them out at the time and it was showing as available but I ended up farting about too much and when I finally went to order from Currys yesterday, surprise surprise, no stock available.

Checked them this morning and a store 80 miles away had stock, phoned their HQ to see if they can transfer stock internally but was told no chance. Out of pure chance went back to Smyths website and nearly creamed my knicker when I saw that they had 1 copy available to order online for home delivery.

I ordered it!
