You won't disappointed, they make some great Kitchen knives and they come in a lovely presentation box and with the double discount makes knife great value imho. I have just invested in a leather knife roll yesterday to keep mine as difficult to keep transporting them in the boxes.
Its woth noting that these make a big deal about being Japanese knives, they claim to be made from Japenese steel but they are maufactured in China. These are not like the "Global" Japanese knife brand.

At this sort of price you can get a decent German steel, made Germany blade, they are not all as "hefty" as the desciption makes out!

They are made with Japanese steel does it matter where they're made? Seen plenty of people rate these more highly than Global knives. All down to preference

The knife is manufactured in our state-of-the-art factory in Yangjiang, China. The blade material is Japanese VG10 Super Steel 67-layer Damascus imported directly from Takefu in Japan. .

Obviously if you prefer German knives, that is your prerogative, but these are made of Japanese steel and manufactured to a high standard
They are brand of little to no pedigree, not well received, only been around since about 2015.

They are an Amazon only Brand (or for the most part of their existence).

Its all just words on paper, they import the steel from Japan, a bit like saying I get my diamonds from Hatton Garden; It doesn't mean they are good.

Lots of car companies make their cars in China, they don't export back to the EU as they are not up to what people would expect from the brand.

Here's my 2p worth.
I own 5 of their knives. They are excellent, well made and edge retention is very good indeed. Read the reviews on Amazon and make your own mind up. I rate these above the Global knife I also own, they are better weighted and the handle is much nicer.

Do you own the Santoku or Boning knife, looking to add them as I do a lot of prep work for my smoker. Any experience of them? especially the boning ones as never used one before.

I don't have a boning knife but the Santoku is my go to knife for 80% of the time. I've owned it since 2017 and have not needed to sharpen it yet, just regular honing is enough
