This may be good as a novelty item but please dont rely on it if you are driving. If you are driving then just one alcoholic drink is one too many.

I knew there was something i forgot to add.....thanks

Seems a good price, don't know how accurate it is but will be handy for me around xmas, see if I'm ok to drive the morning after a drinking session.:prop:

Personally.....i'm going to buy it out of curiosity and test it out at home after a few drinks.....i don't think anybody in their right mind would gamble their license with it!

Licences are the last thing to be worried about with an alcohol and driving combo, lifes are a much more precious commodity.

Always handy to see if you are good to drive the next day, thats the problem I normally have never sure how long to leave it.

Can imagine it now. "Please breathe into this sir" I don't need to, I'm fine, look at my £4.99 wonder from Currys.

I too always go by the rule of one is too many.

A driving book I had when I was learning to drive said that pilots use 8 hour bottle to throttle, so ive always used this as a benchmark, if its good enough to fly with hundreds of passengers then it must be ok for me on the road. But it will be good to test this theory.

voted cold purely because you used both £ and p.

ooh, you pedant:-D

The government is talking about the possibility of lowering the drink driving limit even further in the new year, which would render this thing useless as they only indicate if you are over the current limit or not.

I bought one of these alcohol breath tester from ebay a few years ago. It didn't work well...even if I didn't have any alcohol, it still says I'm over the limit. Maybe its because of my bad breath hahahahaha

similar item is available in total garages for £4.99 at the counter
