Third album from Sam Hardaker and Henry Binns follows 2004's 'When It Falls'. Continuing to build on their established sonic blueprint, this album incorporates some more organic elements, such as acoustic guitar, into their chilled and downtempo sound. As well as their longterm vocal collaborator Sia Furler, it also features indie-folk superstar Jose Gonzalez, who lends his voice to the single 'Futures' and a unique version of his own 'Crosses'.

Futures
Throw It All Away
Seeing Things
The Pageant Of The Bizarre
You're My Flame
Left Behind
Today
This Fine Social Scene
Your Place
If I Can't Have You
Crosses
Waiting To Die

Hot from me, worth checking out Sia's own stuff too

Great laid-back CD to chill out to.

It's not Moon Safari, but excellent nonetheless.

A good chill-out album. Go for it - £3 well spent imo

definately...saw her in Manchester last year and she was amazing...jose gonzales puts in a good show vocally too.

as good as any of Zero 7's albums and even better for having her beautiful voice over half the tracks.

Part of me is sad that Sia doesn't get more recognition over here, but another part of me feels like I belong to a group of people that get to see her in small venues and have good taste in music...:whistling:

Dont have any money but this is too good a bargin!! Thanks!!!

Yeah, sadly havent gotten round to seeing her live myself, but I much prefer small venues naturally...was good seeing Feist 1.5 years ago at Bristol Trinity Centre, great seeing her in a small venue and knowing millions of people were wondering who the heck she was from the Ipod adverts.

Thanks OP.... just checking out the songs on plong.com, just fyi here is the link:

Just had a listen to sample of the album and the songs seem to be very different from their older albums... almost like folk songs. Still a good deal, but would like to say that if you expect the same sounds as their older albums then be in for a surprise. Having said that, I must also say that I really liked the Jose Gonzales songs.

Yeah, the write up blurb is spot on for the change to an acoustic organic feel.

Excellent spot bud, hot from me.
