Or you could go to Scan and get 30 AOne double layer discs (work perfectly with my 360 - been using them for 6 months now) for a few pennies less than this deal - if you are a member of AV Forums (free to join) you even get free delivery!!!

Okay - nontechie question! Can a normal burner cope with dual layer discs? Is it a hardware or software compatibility thing, or both?

Was very good media.
Since the take over the quality is very c**p.
These discs made excellent copies, i would say only the verbs. had the edge.
Shame they are so c**p now.
Last packs i have tried since the take over have been about a 80% coasters.

people over at SVP are saying the same thing. Think i'll stick to verbs, although verbs do cost a LOT more.

Voted cold, sorry. Maybe they're ok for data storage though.

the zero defex are CMC MAG-D0x, which are pretty terrible.

for cheap discs I'd look for some with the RICOHJPN-D01-067 MID - they work OK in the 360 (not as good as verbs obviously, but they only cost 60p each compared to £1.40 for verbs).

These was the best priced dvd+r dl.
I would read all the reviews before taking my word for it.
I would have highly recommended these before they was taken over.
I didn't listen to the reviews on the new zero defex dvd+r dl thought they can't have changed from excellent to utter s***** over night.

Must point out my views are based on the zero defex dvd+r dl only.

They can read them, some newer single layer drives are capable of writing to them as if they were single layered but obviously they can't write to them as dual layer. You may be able to update the firmware enabling you to write dual layer try here for ]firmware its really simple to do
I did it a few years back with a nec drive.

Hi
To apply the free postage you need to log into AV Forums first and then using the same window go to this address:

avforums.com/for…php

This link will take you to a page with a description of the offer and at the bottom a link to Scans website - click the link and it will send you to Scan with free postage enabled.

Use it as many times as you need to. It says that the requirement for free delivery is £20 ex vat but when I ordered 3 packs of AOne DL DVDs the price came to around £10.69 and delivery remained at £0.00. So Im not sure if the £20 ex vat rule is in place.
