Why were they chosen to play the game? Who is Zero? Nothing is as it seems. They’ll desperately fight for survival in this deadly game of life or death.

The first two games in this series might be my favourite bits of fiction anywhere, films books or otherwise.

Wish I could wipe my memory of them and play them for the first time. The third game is pretty decent even though I was disappointed by it when I first played it it's actually not that bad.
Two of the finest stories in any medium.
999 and Virtue's Last Reward are two of my favourite games ever. Incredibly dark. It's well worth playing every single path of VLR to get the final ending, it will blow your mind.
Bought both a few days ago with some of my £50 credit I got cheap. I remember playing VLR on Vita and loved it!
great games and it's a small download, so it won't take up too much hd space either
The story looks right up my alley. Would you say both games are worth it? Was looking to perhaps pick up AI: The Somnium Files too.

I lost a lot of sleep to 999, when I first discovered it on the DS. My only slight criticism is that, in typical Japanese fashion, there’s some slightly arbitrary stuff you need to do to see the different endings, like carrying out tasks in a very specific order.

Definetely pick the binary games up. 999 and Virtue’s Last Reward are just fantastic. Zero Time Dilemma Is great too but not as good

Yeah, that’s what I have them on. Didn’t post it as vita owners are a dying breed unfortunately. Hopefully they will be brought to the switch, but they’d probably charge £100 per game

It's a shame that it's not a cross-platform game for both PS4 and PS Vita.

What’s worse is I had to buy virtue’s last reward twice on vita to get 999 as it cannot be bought separately on vita 🙈

That and they removed the option to buy Virtue's last reward digitally as standalone. But at least this version of 999 is better, voice acting and has a flow chart.

I was just about to say the same thing Toying with buying it and replaying 999 in order to resurrect my poor neglected Vita. At least I’ll have Virtue’s Last Reward in two formats: digital and physical
Thanks for posting, we have added this to the Highlights section
Tempted to dig out the vita for it as I've been dying to try and play these for many years.. Still got God Eater 2 in there
