Best price out there for a brand new one, almost as good as the price I paid from Toby Deals a month ago (also back in stock for the same price).

To be absolutely clear this is the latest Zhiyun Crane 2 with follow focus for select cameras and higher load capacity (as opposed to the older v2 model)

Selling for £509.99, use code SHP5Q4 to bring the price down.

Also available at Toby Deals for £509.99, possibly £502.99 but for some reason their code TDGP7 (£7 off purchases over £450) is currently not applying.

TCB also available at 2.62%

EDIT | Has gone OOS @eGlobal, still available @ Toby Deals

EDIT 2 | Price increased to £559.99

Sold out but still on sale @ Toby Deals for £509.99

How robust are these?

I've been thinking about getting a gyro stabiliser for snowboarding but worried if I fall its like £££++ down the drain...Are there robust/more cost effective options for GoPro or similar?

Thanks!

Edit: My current set up is telescopic pole extended to nearly 1.5m, though this helps take out alot of smaller vibrations its blooming heavy to wield on the slopes... I was thinking using a gyoscope (manual or electronic) on a 0.5m boom which hopefully gives significant improvement, either from less weight or performance!

There are some smaller, more compact action cam gimbals, that can be attached on the body or helmet, but still, I don't think they can handle a heavy drop...by design, the mechanism has to be very delicate and light..

Pah, Take the clutch mechanism from a impact gun, slap some clever gears for that and stick it on a electronic gimbal, squirt some moulding around it with rubberised bits and your done. Easy peasy :D...

On a serious note, do you have any names/key words I can search for such helmet mounted devices?

I have come across these two: Feiyu wg2 and Evo ss.
