Another cracking Argos reduction. Thanks for posting, RFC1795.

Nice scooter. I see the argos review says a 4 year old was using it, so the minimum age of 8 may not strictly apply (perhaps only in the case of legal claims!).

what a load of rubbish - how the hell do you steer it - poor mans maxi micro - still a good price though

If its similar to the one our kids have already, then steering is performed by leaning the handle left or right.

Just realised it doesn't have a conventional T-bar, just a pole

Why call it "T-Motion" then?! oO

It's got 3 wheels so the base is T shaped??

is this really made from zinc?

Great find.the lil one will love this.

a fabulous and well made scooter - got it at 30 quid and still good value - dont be put off by the odd steering mechanism - it really works

oh huge thanks for this. just wondering how i could get my son a decent scooter for his birthday and saw your post -

our kids love their mini micros. anyone know how this compares to them. my oldest is outgrowing his so thinking of buying the maxi micro. at £95 would never have considered that before seeing the mini micros in action. it this a good substitute for a maxi micro at 1/6th of the price?

Ordered looks nice

Thanks my son has grown out of his micro, and this is a hell of a lot cheaper than the bigger micro at about £80.

Thanks OP. Just reserved.

Probably because it's a heavy piece of kit as it's made of steel rather than aluminium and the likelihood of injury.

Just collected. Looks pretty good. Very pleased with it I'm sure my son will be happy with it. Many thanks. x

hi my twins are 5 next month and want a scooter would this be too big for them (they are bit small for their age),,,, i know its says from 8years but was just wandering ?

I've bought for my 5 year old. He's not tired it yet as it's from Santa so he'll be 5 1/2 and I think he will manage fine with it and should get plenty of use from it. x

Will this be any good for an 11 year old? Thinking if I should buy it or my son's birthday in a few months.

Collected mine now and very impressed indeed. Quality seems excellent. Sturdy and will do my 7 year old for years. Heavier than most kids' scooters. It would be too much for my scooter-experienced 4.5 year old to manage, so not sure it'd be right for your twins, SR5.
Thanks again OP.

For those who may be interested the product weight is 4 kg

I just reserved for my 3 year old !

Order 2 to put away for xmas. They look quite impressive.

Agree, it does look impressive. Had to take it back though as while it looks like the cool teenage step-brother of the diminuative mini micro, it doesn't have the same mechanics and suspension as the micros. The front wheels turn like a conventional scooter rather than bend. I think a little un coming from a mini micro would find it a struggle on one of these.

Was tempted to keep it for myself as it can take 80kgs, but in the end put the money to a maxi micro

Obviously much more expensive but worth it for me as our kids use their scooters all the time.

we have 2 of these - one for our 5 year old son, & one for our 11 year old daughter. These are excellent scooters, & do twist & turn like the micros. They are very nippy too. They are heavier than the maxi micro, but doubt that it is that noticeable when you're scooting. My son & daughter have raced their cousin who has a maxi micro & I'm pleased to inform that these scooters did not seem inferior to the maxi in terms of speed & ease to use. They are easy to use with the ball for steering - you just adjust your weight to the side & move the whole bar to the side. I have had a go myself, & was surprised how easy to steer it was. I don't think much of the brake, as it doesn't seem to do much, but don't know how good the brake works on a micro either. The only other disppointment was that the patterned transfer on the foot plate wore away after the first use, so made it look a bit tatty which I thought was naff after just an hour or so use!
In summary, for the price this is compared to the maxi, this is an excellent buy. I paid £30 & was pleased with that (but now narked it's so cheap now!!) Plus, probably less chance of it being stolen down the park!
