I could be wrong but aren’t they okay as they are below a certain MPH?

You will need to view many people's opinions. From what I have read its a very minimal risk. Riding a bike on a pavement would be more dangerous I would say.
I was going to get one until I have read the reviews...
Not good at all and as it was going to be bought to put away until Christmas, I cannot take the chance.
Not voted either way.
Bought the xt and xt1 last Christmas- xt 1 now not working and was quite slow anyway. Xt1 still going strong
'Zinc' is a great name for a battery powered device!

No, they're illegal at any speed. I use my Xiaomi M365 on roads and pavements without issue (like many others here), so long as you are careful and show respect it shouldn't be a problem. Police typically turn a blind eye (until you injure someone).

So which one is not working then xt1 or xt1
Only up to a 50kg rider.

That's the hopes and dreams of fat Britain down the drain right there.

Can you get an industrial strength one for slobs?

50kg is the average weight of a healthy 14-15 year old, this clearly isn't designed for adult use.
Why can't you ride these in public?
Surely the police have more to worry about than people scooting at 10mph, just be polite to pedestrians
I used to work fir a company that manufactured and sold simular, we actually sold a more powerful one to a police officer who said that as long as in his words not a **** on it it’s no illegal
as I’d asked if it needed to be registered etc

They truly don't care, they have real crime to deal with. That's assuming you actually see a police officer anywhere these days.
Reviews stopped me buying too. Rrp most likely massively inflated for a piece of junk.
Catch me if you can copper
